We are excited to kick off the new year with a solo exhibition by resident artist Paul Digby at Northlight Arts Centre.
The exhibition will present a series of large-scale drawings of hands that Paul has been developing over the past three years, alongside an artist talk and a meet the artist event.

ABOUT DAVID: 'I have been an artist all my life. It is a necessity for me to paint, and I do it selfishly because I love to create. My style of work has changed very little over the years. The shape and form of nature is the vein throughout my work. Many of my pieces include a physical form to represent our part in natures pattern.

This striking piece comes from our North.Art member Linda Hollingshead. It is called The Power of You. Its a mixed media piece measuring 60x60cm. Its so vibrant, and so energising! ....its a real wow piece!

ABOUT: 'This view is from the nature reserve at Fairburn Ings. Once home to the largest slag heap in Europe (what a boast!) it has been transformed into a thriving and beautiful place by the RSPB. This area of the reserve is home to burgeoning silver birch and alder, thriving in the damp conditions. It is beautifully still as the sun rises in winter with just the thin noise of the robin’s song to break the silence'🥰
