If I've ever sent you a file via 'Hightail' please note that I'm in the process of ditching it. Hightail are a useless organisation who could not give a stuff for their customers. I have been with them for about 15 years and they have let me down a few times - but in particular over the last couple of days. Their support staff clearly have zero technical knowledge and offer ridiculous 'workarounds' that are impractical and unfair to ask of my own Customers. So if I've sent you a link to a file by Hightail, please download it - or move it to another cloud service. I will be gradually moving most of what I can to 'Wetransfer' but with a 15 year archive I cannot move everything. If you've any queries on this, please - of course - give me a shout.

Ex Lord Mayor of Leeds, Jim McKenna, opened a new community hub this morning. The hub - which is named after him - is the new home of West Leeds Amateur Rugby League Football Club. Here is my report.

I've just transferred this from one of my own 8mm cassettes: it's a trip round Leeds City Centre in February 1995. It's fascinating....and the road conditions were no better back then either! Don't forget - tapes DON'T get better with age...contact me today if you have any old tapes or cine film you want to preserve.
