You won’t believe who’s behind this behind this exhibition in Bradford!

In Neo Fauna, the artist Jim Moir presents paintings of birds and wildlife which are all for sale and unlikely to ever be displayed together again.

Jim Moir says, “I find everything about birds fascinating” and I think his paintings tap into our love for birds - I definitely get so much birding content on my feed! Or maybe the love for birds is just something that happens as you get older? It definitely makes my day if I say the a jay on my morning walk.

The exhibition is at Cartwright Hall in Bradford until the end of August and is FREE to attend.

And the artist? You might know him by the name Vic Reeves!

ad pr. Yep, that’s right, you can book a bath at the Lush Spa in Leeds! How dreamy ✨

For those of us who don’t have a bath at home, this is honestly the ultimate treat.

When you book, you can choose from six classic Lush bath bombs. I went for Twilight, and the experience came with lots of matching products to use, from face cleansers to body scrubs and post‑bath moisturisers.

The bath is £35 for 30 minutes, but don’t worry, you’re not rushed out. You get plenty of time afterwards to dry off, use the post‑bath products and enjoy an iced tea.

I miss baths so much - I can’t wait to book again.

This walk in Settle is lovely to do in spring, or any time of the year! But in spring you get wildflowers, bluebells, wild garlic and ducklings!

From the market town of Settle it’s just over two and a half miles to Stainforth Force, the most beautiful waterfall.

You can extend this hike to Cattrigg Force but I’m struggling with hikes at the moment (they’re a migraine trigger for me) so we kept the walk shorter and flatter by going back the way we’d come.

Settle has got lots of lovely shops, cafes and pubs to explore after your hike!

This absolutely stunning gem in Kirk Hammerton, near York, is a must visit for any fans of Pre-Raphaelite painting!

My husband would like to point out that the remainders of the Anglo Saxon history of this church are way more interesting than some nineteenth century murals, but he didn’t create this post 😁

The murals were painted by an artist called George William Ostrehan between 1895 - 1900 and are truly stunning.

It’s the perfect York souvenir. I even got mine engraved with ‘York’ to make it truly unique.
