We're genuinely thankful to have you along for the journey, and we hope you enjoy what Jacob does.

Being new new here, you might not know where all this started…

August 2019. Jacob. A bag of pork crackling. And a little place called Beer in Devon. 😂

No big plans. No idea what it might become. Just Jacob doing one of his first food reviews.

Years later, we're still here, still filming, still giving you Jacob's completely honest opinion… and still enjoying doing it together.

So here's a little look back at where the whole journey began. ❤️

And yes… Beer really is a place. 😆

You don't always need to know exactly where you're heading.

You don't need every step planned out.

Sometimes you just need to keep moving.

Because as long as you're moving, you're not standing still.

The direction?

That'll work itself out somewhere down the road. 👊

🚨🇯🇲 A proper hidden gem — and a first for Jacob's Food Review!

We went looking for some Caribbean food and found this little place tucked away on a backstreet in Bradford.

And this is exactly the sort of discovery that makes doing these reviews worthwhile.

A small kitchen, an amazing Jamaican chap cooking authentic Caribbean food for the local community, and absolutely no need for anything fancy or overcomplicated.

We went for the mutton curry, and it was absolutely beautiful. Full of flavour and worthy of the seriously high score Jacob gave it. 👏🔥

Sometimes the best food isn't sitting underneath a massive illuminated sign on the high street.

Sometimes you've got to go looking for it.

What a find this was. 🇯🇲❤️

🔥🐔 We are probably the VERY LAST food reviewing team in the UK to make it to Pepe’s Piri Piri… but we got there in the end! 😆

And you know what? It makes a nice change.

Instead of the usual deep-fried, battered chicken shoved into a bread roll of some description 😂, we've got flame-grilled chicken, rice and plenty of flavour.

Nothing complicated. Nothing ridiculously expensive.
Just a decent meal that actually delivers.

Full of flavour, good value and, yeah… we liked it! 👌🔥

Better late than never, eh? 😂

🚨🌯 HIDDEN GEM ALERT!

If Lebanese street food is your thing, That’s a Wrap on Queens Road in Bradford needs putting on your list. 👀🔥

Lebanese street food wraps, loads more on the menu… but there was only one place we were starting:

The mixed shawarma meal deal. 🌯

Chicken, lamb, all wrapped up and ready to go — and we got absolutely fired into it. 😆

This is exactly why we love finding these little independent spots around Bradford.

What a place this is. 👏🔥

After those simple glazed ring doughnuts we had in Spain, I've been determined to find something similar back home.

And Lidl GB has delivered! 👏

No filling. No ridiculous toppings. No fourteen different flavours fighting for attention.

Just a simple glazed ring doughnut… and they're absolutely amazing.

If, like me, you think sometimes the simplest doughnuts are the best, get yourselves to Lidl.
