It’s the second Thursday of the month, which means it’s time for another deep dive into sound.
The fifth edition of Aurality is now live on friskyRadio and for this one, I’ve curated a niche selection of forward-thinking electronic music that moves across genres and moods.

This month’s journey draws from a wide spectrum of labels and styles, featuring a Plastic Fantastic Records hattrick, alongside German heavyweights Kompakt Records, Watergate Records and Cocoon.

I’ve also included my first ever original collaboration, crafted together with my mentor and creative partner Doug Crawford plus the incredibly talented Selsi on remix duties - a milestone moment for me and this project.

With only a computer to hand during a lounge refurbishment, Alto Persona began experimenting with production and connected with the exceptional Doug Crawford. What started as casual practice quickly became a seamless creative exchange, resulting in a dark, rolling and effortlessly smooth debut. Driving basslines and a shadowy groove shape the original, blending Alto Persona’s fresh perspective with Doug Crawford’s precision and guidance. Critical Damage and Selsi deliver powerful remixes, each pushing the energy into new territories. Fresh from shaping our relaunch with the acclaimed “Vendetta,” Doug returns to Affiliate with an even deeper dive into his progressive world. A musician since childhood, his ear for immersive, detail-rich grooves continues to earn respect within the Affiliate family. Expect mood, movement and meticulous craft. Join the Revolution.
