Such a lovely evening at the private screening of *Rocket Fuel*, the new BBC Three comedy short. 🌟
Watching our little Baddie 'Alaezja', on that big screen along with the rest of the talented cast. Pure magic ✨
It's such a beautiful thing witnessing your students / clients on that big screen . I am so proud of You Alazeja. You really are destined for big things, you are such a star ✨
The film itself? A total triumph. 5 stars from me! ★★★★★
Not only is *Rocket Fuel* hilarious—proper laugh-out-loud ridiculously funny—it also brought back so many memories of growing up and the wild adventures we used to get up to . The imagination, the chaos, the friendships… it all hit home in the best way. There’s something so nostalgic and joyful in the way the story’s told, and I left the cinema with a full heart and a huge smile.
Set on the outskirts of Bradford, *Rocket Fuel* follows estate kids Lenny and Mullet as they stumble upon an abandoned car and use their imaginations to build a ride to the moon. It’s wildly original, deeply heartfelt, and so, so funny.
🎬 *Rocket Fuel* premieres on BBC Three this Thursday, 22 May at 9:50 PM
with a repeat airing on Saturday, 24 May at 1:45 . It will also be available to stream on BBC iPlayer shortly after broadcast;
Huge congratulations to the entire cast and crew, especially writer and director Jordon Scott Kennedy, producers Leah Henry, Casey Shaw, and Nick Bedu, and the brilliant team at Fully Focused. You’ve created something incredibly special, and I’m certain *Rocket Fuel* is set for big things.🚀🚀
