The Book Guild

The Book Guild An independent publisher delivering quality partnership and mainstream book publishing services. Submissions must therefore be commercial in nature.

An independent partnership and commercial publisher that publishes about 170 titles a year. We offer both traditional and partnership publishing, with all our titles being fully or co-funded by the company. We do not offer a self-publishing service, but authors may be asked to contribute to the publication of a book in some way, with the Book Guild funding the rest. The Book Guild has acquired a s

olid reputation for publishing books across all genres since its establishment over 35 years ago. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts in all genres for consideration. Submissions from agents are accepted but an agent is not essential, we accept author submissions direct. All submissions will first be considered for a traditional publishing model; if we do not feel that a manuscript is suitable for our traditional publishing programme, we will then consider it for some form of partnership publishing.

Events like these are a brilliant way for authors to increase the visibility of their books, meet their readers and get some signed copies out into the world.

We look forward to hearing all about it!

Any lovers of Greek mythology? The Composition of a Crow might be for you!

This is a modern retelling of a lesser-known myth, reimagined through the modern lens of trauma and resilience. It's where psychological suspense meets the supernatural, exploring the blurred lines between memory, madness and myth 🧡

(P.S. isn't the cover stunning!)
