Hello all, after something of an enforced hiatus we are back.
Firstly, I hope everyone has stayed safe and healthy over this last frankly s**t, eighteen months or so.
Three weeks from today, we will be playing live for the first time in what seems like an eternity. The Soundhouse Leicester will be hosting our first label day and whilst everyone will be under rehearsed and lockdown fat, it's going to be epic.
We welcome the marvelous Factory Girls to our roster, and though they are currently reduced to a two piece for this event, they will still no doubt be ace.
Courtney Askey Music will be performing her wonderful solo set of gothic tinged, dark balladry.
EARLS need no introduction and we can't wait to hear their blistering, scuzzy, fu**ed up punk anthems once more.
Headliners on the night will be the ever chaotic The People Assembly pedalling their glorious, cacophonic racket and launching the long delayed debut album INTERNATIONAL POST-SPACE CENTRE, vinyl copies of which have been gathering dust in a warehouse since the first lockdown, but will be available on the night. I urge everyone to buy a copy as a) it's fu***ng brilliant and b) it will help stop the label going bankrupt!
Opening up proceedings will be those elder statesmen of the Leicester music scene Echolocation - well, as I'm in the band, why fu***ng not?
Assuming that utter tool Boris doesn't throw more spanners in the works of this pandemic s**t show, this will hopefully be the start of a renaissance of our live music events and forthcoming releases.
It will be great to see as many of you as possible, though please read the Soundhouse's guidance on how to behave, as this is going to be early days for 'proper' gigs.
Support the bands, the venue and staff and let's have a long overdue blast.
Be nice to each other x
