Our latest episode is up of our special series with of Book to Studio Ghibli with
It was such a pleasure to revist Mary Norton's The Borrowers. It reminded me as a kid our obsession with 'little people' stories like Thumbelina, Gullivers Travels, Cottingly Fairies, Indian in the Cupboard. There are 5 books in the series and it is utterly charming. And of course safe in the hands of Studio Ghibli with debut director Hiromasa Yonebayash in their adaptation to 'The Secret World of Arrietty'. Check our episode out on all good streaming platforms.

The company, which also makes SundanceTV’s short-form series State of the Union, is developing the comedy drama, which is described as American Psycho-meets-Fleabag, written by Pure writer Kirstie Swain. The hope is that it will turn into an eight-part order. The book, which was published in 2017, chronicles a year in the life of an ambitious but bored young woman living and working in a small British town. [ 331 more words ]
