Stowe Mount Care Home recently celebrated its first anniversary with a Disney-themed event full of colour, music and magical moments!

The Ride Lichfield Sportive charity bike ride is returning for its fifth year in June!

Designed to get people out on their bikes, the ride combines scenic Staffordshire routes, community fundraising and grassroots cycling support.

Since launching, the sportive has attracted more than 500 riders and raised over ÂŁ10,000 for charity.

Zoe Sykes and her sister Helen have taken on an inspiring fundraising challenge that captured the very best of community spirit.

Running from the stunning surroundings of Lichfield Cathedral to the historic grounds of Tamworth Castle, the pair raised an amazing £1,710 for the Lichfield Memory Café – a cause that is incredibly close to their hearts.

Victoria Cartwright, from Jolly Dog Walks, has been named a finalist in the Midlands Region Animal Star Awards 2026 for Dog Services Of The Year!

The local business was only founded in January this year, and is already planning to extend its services.

Victoria says “the dogs and their owners mean everything to me, and being recognised as an awards finalist is something I’m truly proud of”.

Tom Roberts has reviewed a recent performance of ‘Hopelessly Devoted to Olivia’ at Lichfield’s The Hub at St Mary’s, describing it as “a real gem of a show”.

Hi ,

Cathi Dillon, who lives in Lichfield, took on a major winemaking project in the early 2010s, despite admitting “I knew nothing about wine” at the time – beyond what can be gained from drinking it, of course!

Now, the last (2016) red vintage – ‘Terraces du Larzac’ – is bottled and ready to hit local bars and restaurants. It is already being sold locally, including in Lichfield, as well as down south.

Cathi describes it as “absolutely perfect. It’s beautiful for drinking now” – and organic, too!

Clare spoke passionately about helping people become less dependent on constantly being ‘fixed’, and instead learning how to understand and support their own bodies through movement, strength and awareness.
