Finally capturing all the sounds for 'Mad Maxi' is Nathan Coates!

Currently attending Lincoln university in an undergraduate course on film production. Nathan started his filming career after hitting a crossroads with himself after school. Growing up around and intoxicated by film and its many forms he started work on short pieces with some of his friends working on zero budget. He wound up putting himself through a media BTEC in college. Through numerous projects from music videos to short films and more corporate pieces. And continued with his goals into university in all its ups and downs.

Our next Cinematographer for 'Mad Maxi' is Josh Bunting!

Currently studying Film production at the University of Lincoln, Josh first realized his passion for film at the age of 17, when he was in 6th form studying psychology, sociology, and film studies. From this, Josh stepped back a year to do a Film and TV production course at college. He always had an interest in films and how they were made, but at this age never considered it could be a career option. Josh spent most of his childhood with a camera in his hand taking photos and videos of everything and anything he could find.

Over the next two posts we will show you our two Cinematographers for 'Mad Maxi'
First up is Adam Gough!

Currently attending University of Lincoln where he is studying a Film Production degree. He has a peak interest in filmmaking, which stemmed from watching films, music videos and documentaries. With years of experience behind the camera, Adam has had valuable encounters working with local companies such as Stokes Coffee to create visual styled projects during his time at college; where he has also filmed events such as the Lincolnshire Business Awards and graduations. Adam is currently working with his own clients, such as Howlin’ Jacks Record Store, to create advertisement and promotional videos. He was a part of Erasmus in 2019 where he attended a college in Bonn, Germany for a 3-week period where he also learnt his interest in photography. This helped Adam broaden his creative skills and gain valuable knowledge from students from another country. He was nominated to attend Minnesota State University, Moorhead studying Film Production as part of the Study Abroad programme.

Editing our newest Documentary 'Mad Maxi' is James Langridge!

Currently completing his undergraduate degree in Film Production at University of Lincoln, James started in photography winning several competitions, more notably getting his work on the front of a travel brochure. James then bridged into film and created several short films as a teenager. Most very basic films made on zero budget, but also a short film on the dangers of social media which won a competition hosted by Bedfordshire Police.

Next up in the Jam Lamp Crew is Megan Crossley our Producer for 'Mad Maxi'

Meg is currently completing her undergraduate degree in Film Production at the University of Lincoln, she started being interested in film at the age of 15 when she discovered ‘Back to the Future’ and the entire horror genre. She has directed two short films previously and has won the award for Best Director and Best Sound Design at a film festival at her college.

Welcome to Jam Lamp Productions! Over the next few posts we will be detailing the crew involved in our newest documentary 'Mad Maxi'
First off is Josh Penny, our director on the project!

Currently studying at University of Lincoln, Josh found his passion for cameras, film and photography from growing up watching movies and documentaries etc and researching how different types of media were made. This developed into buying his first DSLR at around 15 and going out practicing his camera skills as much as he could. Since then, Josh has worked on numerous photo shoots, planned multiple short stories and done work for local brands and businesses.
