Photography from our recent project for Sciensus shot across all departments of their operations in Burton-upon-Trent. Shooting for multiple days and using coloured flash to enhance their brand colours we created a huge bank of stunning images for our client.

A few photographs of our latest projection work, ‘Postcards from Gainsboroughs’. Working with three schools local to Gainsborough, the project introduced schoolchildren to the fascinating Victorian photographic technique of cyanotypes. It not only allowed the children to connect with their town’s rich heritage but also gave them the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings about Gainsborough in a creative and meaningful way.

We celebrated their work with an exhibition which brought together their prints, some of the equipment used and a behind the scenes film. Then, stepping into Gainsborough Old Hall’s banqueting hall, they saw their work brought to life.

It was a rewarding experience to share our passion for photography and art with the children while helping them engage with their town’s history in a personal and creative way. The project empowered the children to become active participants in celebrating and shaping the identity of Gainsborough.

The end of November saw us in Boston for the 10th annual Illuminate parade. We’ve been documenting these for since they began and we were out in force this year shooting stills and video. Steve even managed to capture a few of Callum and Neil (and his incredible mobile lighting rig in action).
