RONNIE B | Funxion Resident & DJ
Ronnie B is one of our Funxion and Boogie Basement resident Dj’s and has been with us since day one.
He brings his own style to the table with his excellent technical ability on the decks and being able to engage and read a crowd. He also has great track selection knowledge that enables him to keep the crowd on his side thus keep the night pumping.
Ronnie B started DJing in 1999 aged 19 after getting into the clubbing scene and regularly travelling up and down the country to various club nights and festivals like Storm, Passion , Global Gathering and Creamfields. Hard house was his music of choice back then for a few years, and after that it was the Techno sound that got his attention.
Over the years Ronnie B had expanded his musical diversity and enjoys playing a variety of Genres including House, Disco, Deep House , Tech House and Techno.
He has been playing out regularly on the local music scene for over 10 years now and has played at various nights like Jacked, Gruuvbox, Terrace Events, The Backroom and Rude. Ronnie B held residency’s at Terrace Events and now Funxion Events. Also had guest slots on Native Lincoln radio shows and had his own weekly show every Sunday night on EV8RADIO show.
