This is what me, my band mates in Banter and our wonderful team of BanterFest volunteers are going to be doing in Devon next May!

I'm so excited to be announcing this ❤️❤️

We can't flippin wait for this to happen next May and we're so chuffed to be able to show you the lineup at last!! 🤩🤩🤩

My connection with Moulton Morris is a strange mix of pride and guilt 😍😏 Pride at being part of one of the best and most exciting, vigorous sides in the country and guilt at not having the time to be more actively and regularly involved. I was so happy to get to the National Morris Weekend in Evesham a couple of weeks back and into kit. Ironically this video captured the only dance I did on the day - still so buzzed to have been a part of it! 🥰

Yes folks it's official!!! We are unimaginably and excruiatingly excited to announce that we WILL be launching a SECOND festival - BanterFest SouthWest!! It will be taking place in May next year in the beautiful village of Christow in Devon nestled in the idyllic Teign Valley on the edge of Dartmoor.
We have been working really hard to make this come about as our existing festival in lovely Lincolnshire is at capacity and rather than going down the road of trying to make it bigger and risk spoiling it's boutique charm, we have decided to share the BanterFest love into the opposite corner of England as well!
We can't wait to reveal the amazing line up we've got in store and tell you more about it all.. WATCH THIS SPACE for news and ticket info!! 😁😁

I'm so excited about this summer! Another set of medieval dance workshops ahead at The Sidmouth Folk Festival - Folk Dance Department - it will undoubtedly be the most fun thing you'll ever do! Come and get your dancing shoes on and I'll see you there ❤

Next Sunday I'll be in Ibiza with my band Banter instead of presenting my usual live 3 hour show on BBC Lincolnshire and the weekend after I'll be appearing at Upton upon Severn Folk Festival.

So, I'll be leaving you in the hands of the amazing George Smith for a couple of weeks. He is no stranger to the folk show on BBC Lincolnshire, as I inherited the hot seat from him almost exactly 6 years ago and I know he'll be serving you up some tasty stuff!

We are majorly looking forward to jumping on a plane this week and heading to Ibiza for Costa Festival🏖

Simon will be DJing with a special surprise guest for the Reggae & Ska disco and Nina will be hosting the quiz, bingo and infamous panel game! We might even have a bit of a session too!
