There is something about the sea that reminds me how small I am and how big God is! Wide horizons calm our nervous system and give us perspective. The crashing waves demonstrate a power that exists beyond our lives.

Often, we want to see the destination and wait for fair weather before we're willing to set sail. But maybe May is calling us to step off the safety of the shore. To trust that the One who gathered the waters and holds all things in His hands is the same One leading us into this new season.

I am playing with vivid colours at the moment and taking more risks with my art. Intending to take that childlike whimsy into this next season, and reminding myself that uncertainty is rarely a problem for us to to solve, but the backdrop for unexpected miracles we could never plan ✨️

Almist finished... third time I have painted over this!

I dreamt I sold a painting of San Diego -when I woke up I realised the view in the dream was real

I love painting, walking, swimming, lifting weights, having a tidy house (!) But actually doing the stuff is most harder than it should be. Maybe anything worth doing is! But when inspiration hits nothing can stop me

So this is the result of a couple of late night inspiration painting sessions
