Filming yesterday with the legendary Stan Boardman and John H. Stracey… not a bad way to spend a day.

For those who don’t know John, he’s a former world welterweight champion, famously winning the title in 1975 against José Nápoles in Mexico City. Massive underdog at the time, went into the lion’s den and pulled off one of those proper British boxing moments.

Since then, he’s stayed close to the sport and built a reputation as a genuinely top bloke as well.

Yesterday, though, wasn’t about boxing, it was about antiques! And I’m not talking about Stan 😂

Stan’s working on something new, a lighthearted antiques show pilot, and I was brought in to film it over in Hooton. The pilot was fully edited by midnight last night and will hopefully be available soon.

It was an absolute pleasure filming with British wheelchair racer Nathan today. He won multiple medals at both the 2018 and 2021 World Para Athletics European Championships. Lovely afternoon spent talking to him.

But pause for a moment. Look at how far you’ve come.
The things you survived. The lessons you learned. The growth you didn’t even notice at the time. If life is a journey we’re just passing through, then every step matters. Even the small ones.
Give yourself credit.

The same thing happens with video.

Life isn’t about arriving polished — it’s about evolving in real time. Learning as you go. Outgrowing old versions of yourself. Adjusting. Refining. Becoming.
You’re allowed to be a work in progress.
You don’t have to be complete to be valuable.
You don’t have to be perfect to be worthy.
Growth is the point.
