Theres a couple of great 9x9 charged shows this week in The Backroom at 81 Renshaw which I run.

Tonight we have Lavinia Blackwall which our very own Whelligan in support.

Saturday The Room celebrate their Doom Pop! LP launch with Speeding Motorcyclists in tow.

Tickets for both shows are £10 each via Skiddle.

Hopefully we will see some friendly faces down there.

Its the first time the kitsch horror classic has been dedicated to vinyl, so that's a pretty big deal.

Krystian , here and I'm stealing this platform to tell you all that ive started my own music venue with a big history tied to this label and a lot of our artists.

The venue is Backroom at 81 Renshaw. The place were 9x9 Records was born and hopefully a place that will become a regular haunt and meeting place for our team and artists.

A space that I truly believe can become a physical hub for the amazing community we have built around 9x9 Records.

This weekend are our launch shows, Friday to Sunday. Ill add a ticket link to the story post connected here, so please come along and support, it would be a huge help for the venue and 9x9 too...also 3 of our artists play across the weekend: Thom Morecroft hosts on Friday night before Novelty Island and Disco in Sochi play on Saturday.

We are releasing high school horror 'Death Valley High' for the first time ever on vinyl!

A true nightmare on wax, the 2006 concept album is finally being consigned to record.

The package is available for preorder, will come on translucent red vinyl and complete with a bonus CD containing a version of the album never heard before.

It's already picked up great reviews, including a shining write up from Spill Magazine who premiered the record last Thursday.

The album is out on CD & LP. You can get yours via our site or on Bandcamp.

This time is a step up in size as he brings his vibrant indie to Rough Trade.
