Next Thursday is the unveiling of a very special project, put together by several members of the extended 9x9 family, and it takes place in Barcelona.

Nick Garrie Lost & Found has been passionately put together by the potent combination of Paroketh Films and Alastair Clarke (Zombina and The Skeletones - Cemetery World 🎥).

It focuses on the incredible story of Nick Garrie, his life and career in arts. We are expecting a piece of work akin to the levels of fascination if Searching For Sugarman, The Devil and Daniel Johnston or Searching For The Wrong Eyed Jesus.

Last year we released a very special 7" edition of Nick's classic lost track 'The Nightmare of J.B Stanislas. It is a must hear and when you fall in love, you can grab a copy via our site with a new track - Around The World.

THE DSM IV just got announce as tour support for the mighty Benefits, this November.

They released their latest EP 'NEGATIVE UTOPIA' on vinyl earlier this year. It garnered loads of praise, including from one of our favourites

Test Pressings for NXN041 & NXN042 arrived yesterday. I had a great time checking over them both.

NXN041: OORYA - Who Are Ya?
It's like looking one of the curtains in The Black Lodge and seeing a seance that you can't back out of. A truly vivid trip.

NXN042: Mike Badger - Devils, Ghosts and Fi****ms
A love letter to Blues, Roots and Rockabilly, towing the line between simplistic and masterful songwriting. I was instantly foot tapping and hollering the choruses 2nd time round.

Today I met with the man I like to call The Professor.

Ste Cole is the honcho of the brains behind and the man the mastering, for the majority of our legacy releases.

The venue was one of Liverpools finest drinkeries, Peter Kavanaghs.

Always excited for what is to come from this genius.

Pete Bentham and The Dinnerladies put on a blinder of a show last night. Reeling through their new album Art, Religion and Chocolate Biscuits as well as all the trusty classics.

They also invited some very special guests on stage as Zombina and a Skeletone climbed on board for a special rendition of Holy Pictures.

The Twistettes and Zen Baseballbat dazzled as well.
