Went to a talk by Dave Evans yesterday at Crosby Library about Quadrant Park and his book, Queue Up And Dance.

A discussion came up why isn't dance culture in this country preserved as it has had such a huge impact on many people's lives.

I am in town and seen the Cream graffiti where the club once stood. It's a shame this has never been preserved properly.

Plaza 80s returns in 2026 to celebrate five years of our retro film nights.

We kick things off with the film that started Plaza 80s back in 2021, a special screening of The Lost Boys (15) on Saturday 31st January at 7pm. The cult 1987 classic about vampires in Santa Carla, starring Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland and Corey Haim.

Plaza 80s Nick Gartland DJ will be on hand playing 80s tunes before the film. There will be a bar and a food bank collection on the night.

Tickets go on sale on Monday 15th December priced only £7 via the following:
