23 Strategies to Grow Your Page Without Posting Videos (Ignore Number 19 😉)
A few weeks ago, I promised to share my growth strategies to help others. Although my video is still in the editing phase 😂, I believe it is important to keep my word.
Many of you may know that I started this page in September 2023. While it has not been a full year, I have gained over 150,000 followers. Although some people achieve this in a shorter time, it is rare to do so primarily by posting text. I am aware that many people struggle for years to reach even 5,000 followers. While life is not a competition, with monetization in place, I believe sharing my growth strategies might help someone.
So, I am sharing 20+ tips in text form, which may be more accessible for many, especially those using free modes, and because I support those who, for various reasons, cannot make videos (just like me).
Now, let us get started:
1. Have a niche — A niche gives your content direction and helps attract a specific audience. If possible, have more than one. For example, while my focus is on scholarships, jobs, and free courses, I also post about movies and tech trends. This way, I always have something to post.
2. Do not engage in personal attacks — Reply politely and do not block. Allow the person to continue boosting your engagement. Some people will naturally not like you, and that is fine. You are not alone.
3. Consistency is key — Regular posting keeps your audience engaged and helps grow your following. Post as many times as you can! Nothing helps a struggling page more than regular and consistent posting.
4. Do not beg for followers; post valuable content — Quality content naturally attracts followers without the need for desperate tactics. Even if you beg, you will not get them. Do you know any page that made it by begging?
5. Learn from other creators — Observing successful creators can provide insights into effective strategies, especially from those in a similar niche.
6. Identify your active hours — Posting during peak engagement times increases the visibility of your content. Study when your page is most active and reserve special quality content for those times.
7. Collaborate wisely — Do not approach people with a wide follower gap; they likely will not respond. Target collaborations with creators at a similar level for better chances of success. You can even collaborate with those who have fewer followers than you.
8. Understand what your followers want — Tailoring your content to your audience’s preferences keeps them engaged. If they do not like movies, do not copy my movie posts.
9. Follow community standards — Adhering to platform guidelines prevents your content from being restricted or removed. Nothing kills a page like restrictions.
10. Never compare your growth to others' — Comparing yourself to others can lead to unnecessary frustration; focus on your own journey.
11. Avoid using other people's videos or music without permission — Using copyrighted content can result in penalties.
12. Avoid heated debates on religion, politics, or sexuality — Controversial topics can alienate parts of your audience and lead to unnecessary conflict.
13. Engage with your followers and other pages — Interaction builds a community and strengthens relationships with your audience.
14. Answer questions, no matter how basic they seem — Responding to questions shows that you value your followers and are approachable. I understand this is really challenging. Even though I currently have an engagement of over 3 million, some people still feel I am ignoring them. Not so!
15. Serve your audience first; do not rush to start a masterclass — Establish credibility and trust before monetizing your expertise. People will approach you to pay for your service on their own. If you rush it, they will unfollow.

17. Be patient during periods of low performance — Not every post will perform well; patience and persistence are essential. Every account experiences periods of low engagement. Recognizing and adapting to slow periods can help maintain momentum.
18. Take advantage of AI for content creation and avoiding restrictions — AI tools can streamline content creation and help navigate platform rules. It will help you paraphrase a sourced content.
19. Post videos if you can — Videos often have higher engagement rates than text-based posts.
20. Avoid links in your posts — Posts without links are less likely to be flagged by algorithms as promotional. Posts with links, based on my experience, have significantly lower reach. This is why all my links go to the comment section.
21. Do not disappoint those who do not like what you do or simply do not like you — Make sure to post quality content so they will comment and boost your engagement. Again, do not engage with negative comments, and do not block; use them to grow.
22. Intentionally omit links or trivial information so people will comment — Encouraging comments by leaving out small details can boost engagement. Some people will always comment with questions like "Is this free?", "Can I apply?", "Am I eligible?". Keep the eligibility details in the link so the questions keep pouring in. Answer those you can.
