😍 Here’s a first look inside the new Brazilian restaurant, Coco Brazil Rodizio Bar & Grill, set to open on the multi-cultural Bold Street next week in the heart of the Ropewalks Neighbourhood.

😍 Last month, The Liverpudlian covered the £350,000 investment which has been made into transforming the venue, converting it from the former Ellis Brigham mountain clothing shop, and into a high-end restaurant, making it a perfect fit for the multi-cultural hotspot that Bold Street has become.

😍 Bold Street has seen a burgeoning food and drink scene over the last few years, and is now the place to go in Liverpool City Centre for dishes from around the world.

😍 Mo Niazi, the General Manager of Coco Brazil Rodizio Bar & Grill, said: “With events and live music nights, it will become the restaurant people will go to not just to eat, but to mingle and dance, and have an amazing time.”

👟 With less than two weeks until the BTR Wirral 10K takes place, runners are being reminded to get on their marks for the last chance to register. In addition to supporting charity, participants enjoy a medal and t-shirt.

👟 The route heads past Fort Perch Rock and along the picturesque promenade to the 5K half-way turnaround point at Seacombe Ferry. The race also finishes on Ian Fraser Walk in New Brighton.

👟 500 runners took part in 2023’s event, which jumped to 750 last year. This year, 900 entries have already been surpassed, with organisers BTR Liverpool aiming to hit the 1,000-mark.

👟 BTR Liverpool Race Director, Alan Rothwell, said: “What the BTR Team enjoy the most is the excitement and anticipation on everyone’s faces as they cross the start line – swiftly followed by the elation and joy crossing the finish line to celebrate their achievements. It is a very special feeling, and it’s something we all share on event day.”

🎃 The magical family-friendly attraction, formerly known as the Halloween Lakeside Trail and now reimagined for 2025, is set to transform the picturesque 70-acre site nestled in the idyllic Cheshire countryside.

🎃 Halloweenville Event Organiser, Callum Morgan, said: “We’re very easy to get to from across the North West and beyond, and our event is not just family-friendly but also dog-friendly, as well, which makes it a really great evening out for the whole family.”

🚢 New Senior Leadership appointments announced at the fast-growing Liverpool City Region-based logistics specialists, SSO, operating out of the City’s Free Port.

🚢 SSO Group, which is based in the Borough of St Helens, has appointed Mike Brown to oversee the SSO Logistics (SSOL) side of the business, which specialises in BRCGS food grade warehousing and palletised distribution via its extensive fleet of vehicles and the UK-wide Pallet-Track network.

🚢 As part of the same senior leadership restructure, Simon Haslam has moved across to the SSO International Forwarding (SSOIF) arm of the group, which specialises in international freight forwarding, customs clearance and various customs regimes. He will also take on the role of managing director.

🚢 Simon Haslam, Managing Director of SSOIF, said: “Our comprehensive logistics capabilities – including road, sea and air freight, Freeport access and a fully operational customs bureau – position us strongly for continued success and expansion.”

🎭 The new family-friendly musical has a book and lyrics by David Baddiel with music and additional lyrics by The Feeling’s Dan Gillespie Sells. It is produced by Scenario Two and Storyhouse and directed by Tim Jackson.

🎭 Storyhouse Creative Director, Suzie Henderson, said: “David Baddiel’s story is hilarious, and he and Dan Gillespie Sells have created a soundtrack which I know will have people singing its songs all the way home.”

✨ A world-renowned art installation, 'Borealis', that recreates one of nature’s most magical phenomena, The Northern Lights, is coming to Liverpool for the first time at The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool from the 20th to the 30th of March 2025.

✨ Created by artist Dan Acher, Borealis combines technology and the elements using beams of light to travel through cloud particles.

✨ Having exhibited in over 40 cities across Europe, Australia, Asia and the US, including Tokyo, Melbourne and Paris. Borealis has captivated audiences across the world, even gaining a permanent installation at Singapore’s iconic Gardens By The Bay Supertrees.

🎨 Tickets for ‘Beyond Van Gogh’ and the much-anticipated UK Premiere of ‘Beyond Monet’ are now on general sale.

🎨 The pair of extraordinary immersive experiences are coming to the Exhibition Centre Liverpool on Liverpool Waterfront from Tuesday the 15th of July to Sunday the 3rd of August. The City was chosen as the location for the ‘Beyond Monet’ UK Premiere after the success of ‘Beyond Van Gogh’ launching in Summer 2024, having its UK Premiere in Liverpool and more than celebrating 60,000 guests across its run.

🎨 Anna Parry, UK Business Development at Annerin Productions, said today: “I’m really excited to bring ‘Beyond Van Gogh’ and ‘Beyond Monet’ together in Liverpool this Summer – and if the fantastic response since we announced the 2025 dates last week is anything to go by, it seems Liverpool art lovers are too.”
