We are absolutely BUZZING to introduce the one and only Mark Holland as our Director and Producer on this project! 🎬🔥

Mark is the powerhouse behind Going Nowhere Productions – a true triple threat: actor, director, and producer – with a stage and screen career packed with featured roles and solid gold experience. You might’ve seen him as Rob Skinner in the brilliantly dark comedy Womble alongside Johnny Vegas, or caught his ongoing role in TV crime drama Matopulas. He’s also featured in the web series Levelz and plenty more across the indie scene and beyond.

Oh – and if he looks familiar? You’re not wrong. Mark spent two years as a presenter on Pawn Stars UK (History UK/Sky TV), charming the nation with that unmistakable grin. 😎📺

After stepping back from acting to focus on his love for producing and directing, Mark founded Going Nowhere Productions – and he’s been flying ever since. From directing feature films to managing full-scale productions and creating content for major online streaming platforms, he’s done it all with style, skill, and serious graft.

Now, he brings that same energy, vision, and straight-up class to our crew — and we CAN’T WAIT to introduce the rest of his team. Absolute unit of talent incoming. 💥🎥

Welcome to the crew of "No Gentle Goodnight" Elaine Louise Stewart as our 2nd AD with Sunny Runny Films Going Nowhere Productions :-)
Elaine is a Liverpool based director, who has directed over 20 productions across several Merseyside theatres. Notable productions include, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Veronica's Room, Rope, Parklife, Punch, Jilted Jenny and The Thrill of Love. Critics and audiences alike have given favourable reviews. She is also Artistic Director for her own theatre company - Twisted Nerve. Before catching the directing bug, Elaine trained as an actor and has performed onstage in a number of productions and in films such as Route Irish (Ken Loach) and the TV series Shameless. She has also written and performed stand up comedy on the northwest circuit - most notably The Comedy Store, Manchester ( and she survived!)
Elaine is delighted to join the crew of No Gentle Goodnight and can't wait to get started!

Sunny Runny Films and Going Nowhere Productions are on the lookout for passionate, experienced Sound & Lighting Techs to join the team behind No Gentle Goodnight — a fast-growing, hard-hitting independent film currently in development.

📽️ We’re kicking off with a proof-of-concept trailer and promo shoots this September, ahead of principal filming starting in January 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to step up and take the lead on sound or lighting in a dynamic, creative environment.

Very pleased to welcome Phil Halfpenny to our Sunny Runny Films with Going Nowhere Productions of "No Gentle Goodnight" As our 1st AD :-)
Phil Halfpenny, hailing from Liverpool, works extensively across the northwest in diverse capacities—commonly directing (and occasionally acting) immersive, horror‑themed theatre nights and dramatic character driven shows and shorts. Among his notable roles, he directed and appeared in Murder at Cadberry Manor (May 2023) and directed The Signal‑Man (October 2023) as part of The Book of Horror: Volume 1. He also wrote and directed the apocalyptic Time Enough at Last (October 2024) and the acclaimed vampire short Decay (October 2024) Critics have praised the Signal‑Manspecifically for its atmospheric staging and narrative tension, while Decay was noted as one of his most sharp and tense pieces of work, engaging favourable reviews from critics and audience alike.
Phil is delighted to join the crew of No Gentle Goodnight and can’t wait to link back up with friend and mentor, Director Mark Holland .
