📺 Last week we shot our third film with the Wirral Council "Harm Outside the home" project which works with young people to retell their stories on how they decided to change their lives.

📺 It's been a privilege to work on such important films with so many amazing cast and crew members and we are so proud of the films we have been able to make with this project

✨ It was a special moment to see so many of the films our amazing Reel Q***r participants have been working on over the past few years on the big screen at this beautiful festival , alongside so many other amazing and moving pieces of film

✨ We had such a good time celebrating all our hard work and hopefully we will be back next year with so many more beautiful Q***r stories 💕

🩸We are moving into spooky season now ... So time to reminisce about shooting our Reel Q***r Short 'How to Remove Difficult Stains'🩸

🖤 We had a laugh shooting last November with a top cast and crew, who also trialed our new more accessible way of making films; because we may be horror nerds but we are always safe about it ✌️

🖤 Difficult Stains' is currently in the depths of editing with a screening coming to you all really soon!

⚡Everything was colour graded to make everything look amazing

This will be the first film of 5 set around real, important stories from teenagers all based in the Wirral.

🪻We are looking for 6 aspiring q***r filmmakers to take part in our upcoming drama micro shorts course!

🪻In the course you will each create a 60 second film idea of your choice while being taught by industry professionals and working together as a crew.

🪻The course will take place over 11 weeks and applicants must be available for EVERY SESSION

🌈 07/10/25 - Drama Writing / Directing 5-8pm

🌈 14/10/25 - NO SESSION HOMEWORK WEEK

🌈 21/10/25 - Crewing session 5-8pm

🌈 28/10/25 - Filming 5-8pm

After starting our Reel Q***r programme back in 2022, aiming to bring industry level training the the local LGBTQIA+ community we have made some amazing films

Have all been filmed and are currently in the edit or ready for festivals.

Making these shorts with a community which we all personally connect with has been so rewarding and so much fun. We are all proud of the work our Q***r's have put into their work and love to see the space we created bringing so much joy, creativity and love.

We will continue to provide a much needed space for the Q***r community where people feel accepted , respected and free to create and we are so excited to see what films we will make next with our Reel Q***r community 🌈
