🌿 Neuroqueer Heros ; Edition 1
🌿 Last month was the end of the NeuroQ***r Heros poetry workshop and our beautiful screening event.
🌿 As part of the course of creating the crown of sonnets as a group we decided to take an interest in nature and the journey back to ourselves and away from capitalism.
🌿 This theme flowed though each poem and was reflected in the film we chose to make.
🌿 The film itself became a ritual, using a spell circle created at our local nature reserve of Bidston Hill under the light of the April full moon the poem and the film formed a powerful spell.
🌿 The screening event featured parts of this spell and working with nature , showing Anthotype prints each artist had made on the course, the film , a beautiful zine and a communal Alter with elements of each poems spell.
🌿 The screening event became a magical evening full of poetry , nature and the power the break the curse of capitalism!
