Big thanks to everyone who came to the opening of our new studio show ‘Haunted Paper’ with the writer Jeff Young .26 on Wednesday.

Such a great turn out on a beautiful warm baltic evening for an equally beautiful show ❤️❤️❤️ A must see (if you haven’t already) 👀

We are closed this weekend but back open on Monday from 9am. We’ll be releasing more news soon about an event with Jeff at the end of August and a special Saturday opening in September for all those that can’t make a weekday.

The show also includes a new film featuring Jeff shot by Matt Bell 🤍🤍🤍

Setting up with Jeff Young .26 for our new studio show that opens tonight (Wednesday 6th August).

Join us later from 5-7pm for the Private View of our new studio exhibition ‘Haunted Paper’ by Jeff Young - An award winning Liverpool born writer and author of books including ‘Ghost Town’ which was shortlisted for the 2020 Costa Biography award and ‘Wild Twin’ winner of the 2025 Times Literary Supplement Ackerley Prize.

We are so happy to have one of our favourite author’s in our space. We’ll be showing images from a number of his notebooks and collages he has kept over the years that have inspired his writing process. ❤️❤️❤️

Dorothy X Jeff Young ❤️ Join us next Wednesday (6th August) 5-7pm at the Private View of our new studio exhibition ‘Haunted Paper’ by Jeff Young .26

Jeff Young is an award winning Liverpool born writer and author of books including ‘Ghost Town’ which was shortlisted for the 2020 Costa Biography award and ‘Wild Twin’ winner of the 2025 Times Literary Supplement Ackerley Prize.

During the writing of ‘Ghost Town’ and ‘Wild Twin’ Jeff kept a number of notebooks and collages that he worked on almost daily and which he describes as an ‘imagination battery’ driving the writing process.

This is the first time his notebooks and collages have been exhibited publicly, providing a unique insight into the beginning of the creative process for one of our favourite authors.

Sunday’s Women Euro 2025 final 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇪🇸 tops off a great month. The Lionesses Touch Line Coat by Girlfans has been swinging gently in our window tempting people in to our Euro Summer exhibition. It’s been a total privilege to be exhibiting the work of these four women in our studio - Caitlin Sullivan, Jacqui McAssey GIRLFANS, Ufuoma Art and our superstar curator Nali Simukulwa ❤️❤️❤️

Hoping England Lionesses can bring it home (again) 🦁❤️
