We provide a top quality recording service for all genres of music and voiceover projects. We've worked with many talented artists including vocalists Shannon Cansfield and Megan Delaney, bands such as Nocturnal Coast and The Collide, also singer-songwriters such as Jack Gillbanks, Jen Ness, Joe Charles Kirby, Deepa Seshadi and Joe O'Donnell, with his single "Summer 2016" being played on various r

adio stations around the UK and Ireland. So far Joe's single has been streamed over 40k times.

We work a-lot with rappers in the Liverpool scene such as Jack Butler, Fran The Rapper, Curly B, SM9, Ramma, Louis Vee, Recky Reckz to name a few.

The studio is run by Adam Trevor who studied sound production for over 6 years including at LIPA and Edge Hill University, the latter of which where he gained a 1st in BA Music Production.

London based Actor took a break from playing Sherlock in the outdoor play at Chester.

He came to record a major part in an audio book for Amazon.

Ethan is also a musician and played in Pride and Prejudice at Chester this summer.

Dr Mike Rotherham is a well known Sport Psychologist who lives locally.

He has recorded VO for an Australian company many times but always travelled to London.

Now he has found Scratch Studio its a win for us all if he continues with us in the future. We certainly hope so.

Working on an African dialect album Issac drops in to record with us as often as he can.

His backing tracks are made in Africa and the mixing is completed there too.

You would never know it but he loves having his photo taken when he records with us. 😀

Another of the Hypnotherapy students from Liverpool Hope University joined us to record her first relaxation audio for her course.

Sylwia originates from Poland and hopes to provide therapy to English and Polish speaking people once qualified.

This young lady is Elsa Thomas from Oldham. Dad and Mum brought Elsa to record a devotional song in the families Indian Language.

During the session Dad was linked by phone to a director in India. Despite the pressure on her, Elsa maintained her calm and performed really well for her first time in a studio.

Brian Jones is another student of Hypnotherapy at John Moores University.

Brian is from Widnes and said he has always had an interest in the subject but has finally decided to take a qualification.

Nicki Blundell is the first of the recent Hypnotherapy Course at John Moores University to come to record her relaxation audio.

This will be a new departure from her normal work. Good luck with the rest of the course.

and family friend Rose are 2 more new customers. Owen used to DJ and produce when he had more time on his hands and recently has started getting back into creating tracks and writing lyrics.

Rose sings on the local circuit and can be seen the Barrys in West Derby Village amongst other venues.

Great to see back in the studio again. Shannon isnt able to record as often as she would like but she always is on point when she comes in, well rehearsed and ready to perform.

Ty Gulliver is yet another new customer at Scratch Studio. Ty has a long history of performing live. He wants to get back to performing music and he recorded a Rag n Boneman cover Skin.

Ty has a brilliant vocal range and he really belted the track out. He did a phone video of his performance too. He says he will be a regular at Scratch Studio 💙

Rapper Giz came to record in a studio for the first time. He has recorded using his phone previously.

His performance was really good and he could have a great future. Looking forward to more from him.

Scratch Studio Liverpool - Music Recording Studio

Scratch Studio is a purpose built recording facility, located in West Derby, Liverpool. Constructed in 2013 Scratch Studio provides professional quality recordings at a reasonable cost. We've had a lot of experience in recording many types of artists and including “The Voice Kids” contestants, 5 piece rock bands and choirs on location at their concerts. We aim to support any musician of any standard to achieve their recording goal.

The studio is run by Adam Trevor who studied sound production for over 6 years including at LIPA and Edge Hill University. Adam divides his time between Scratch Studio and freelancing at another local studio where he works on a variety of other projects.
