Our long term customer Jennifer Ness has written lyrics for a new track which she sent to her friends at

Finally the stars aligned and we got Jen and the band together in the studio and get the track recorded. The track is a lot different from Jens usual recordings.

Hopefully it will released very soon. Sound Generator are a 6 piece originals band based in Buxton Derbyshire but travel around to entertain. Brilliant session!

Hallie Davies came to us for the first time to record a cover. Just moving up to senior school she certainly has a great voice.

We hope Hallie will bring big sister Jane soon who also has a great voice from what we have heard so far.

Catherine Martin was back with us to record a showreel of songs which we also made into a video.

Cath has been working with us for about a year and we’ve loved every minute of it, it’s also another step forward in her musical life. Great to be part of her journey.

Every now and again we get a contact asking for help with recording a track. This was definitely no exception. Erica was taking part in a summer school in Liverpool during her summer break from her Chemistry Degree in her home Country of Japan.

Through her dad who was a musician and lover of 80’s music from the UK, Erica has also developed a love from writing synth 80’s style music. That where we came in. She had created her own backing tracks which she wanted mixing and mastering and one track she wanted to sing on. A very talented lady and knows what she wants. Another first for us working from an artist from Japan.

Ruby is getting to be a regular customer at Scratch Studio which we welcome. Sometimes we get youngsters in the studio to just have a go at recording.

Not that way with Ruby, she has a mature voice far beyond her age. We hope she follows her dreams in future singing as a living.

He is already working on his new album which will be in Ugandan and English. He loves taking advantage of our photographs we take during sessions.
