The idea when we started with WOUK was that anything and everything goes. We are musicians, born and bred in the heart of Liverpool music culture. Everything from the Echo arena down to the open mics, from the bands to the DJ’s, the singers to the Rappers. We want to expose, and promote all of the latest and greatest art coming out of the city today.
It’s true that there’s a lot of talent out there that never makes it to the headlines, the record industry is one of the hardest to be in today, sometimes you can have the perfect songs, an incredible voice, insane skills, but you still struggle to get noticed. You think that because you don’t have that record deal, your dreams of selling out shows is over. Well we’re here to tell you, its far from over. The industry is changing rapidly, with modern technology making music easier and much cheaper to produce, and social media allowing you to reach the masses, its never been easier to get your tracks out there to the world. whether you’re aiming to get signed, or you want to stay independent, we want to help get you out to the world, and build a kick ass community while we’re at it.
