Our Story
Salt Water Poetry is a brand that seeks to provide fuel for your creative expansion and empower emerging artists. We do this through facilitating events, workshops, programs, talks, through one-to-one coaching sessions and through blog posts and informational downloads. Salt Water Poetry’s website seeks to serve as an online community, regularly featuring guest poets by some of the creatives who have inspired me and shaped my life.
Salt Water Poetry was set up by Lyndsay Price; a spoken word artist with an interest in how art can be used as a tool to ignite social change. With a previous background in theatre; Lyndsay melds together her knowledge and artistry to create work that is as socially engaged as it is down to earth and likeable. She writes mainly about; sexuality, sisterhood, friendship, 90’s movies and vulnerability.
