Frieder Nagel continues his new series with “Who Knows” featuring Daniel Brandt, producer, drummer and co-founder of the acclaimed Brandt Brauer Frick ensemble. A dark, menacing piece driven by severe rhythmic tension, the track builds relent-lessly as long, elegiac melodies evolve and dissolve within majestic string arran-gements and Nagel’s signature Moog textures.

The single arrives with two additional versions: a tighter, denser radio edit, and an ambient, beatless take that brings the meticulously crafted sound design to the forefront.

derderwandert - Connections - Métrica

From the west of Germany, Dominik aka derderwandert takes the spotlight in our new release, “Connections.” An artist with a unique sensitivity for blending emotion and rhythm, Dominik invites us to explore human bonds through an elegant, deep, and intentional sound.

The title track, “Connections,” reflects on friendship—how it can shape our personal growth, no matter if the connection is old or new. With a strong and immersive structure, the vocal carries the narrative supported by a perfectly crafted rhythmic pattern designed for the dance floor.

Busy Mind makes his long-awaited debut with ‘Mount Pleasant’. One Week (UK) goes deep on the remix.

Hailing from the fertile musical land of Australia, Harrison Read aka Busy Mind is beginning to make waves. Within a few years of exploring the electronic underground he’s has notable releases on Songspire and InU. Indeed, his collaboration with Jiminy Hop has certainly proven to be somewhat of a breakout track! Coming from an indie rock background certainly hasn’t hindered Busy Mind; you can hear his influences, from Gorillaz to Jamie Stevens shine through in everything he makes.

In original form, ‘Mount Pleasant’ is a soaring melodic triumph. Opening with playful bass notes and an cinematic ‘80s feel, Busy Mind introduces each melodic layer with suitable drama and elegance. The spoken word message of hope and bravery topping off a stunning piece of modern house music stepped in dance floor folklore.
