Noel Sanger - Again - Dissident

Dissident label founder Noel Sanger is back to kick off 2026 with a giant slab of dark yet melodic and uplifting progressive breaks. 2025 saw Noel releasing just a handful of highly acclaimed tracks, including a massively supported bootleg remix of Hysterix’ “Talk To Me.”

“Again” delivers the goods with heavy bass, twisted and memorable vocals, deep melodic textures and an underpinning of funky beats. Orchestral elements take over the break, which builds to a dramatic crescendo before dropping back in with heavy beats. One of Noel’s better moments, and a fitting way to kick off the new era of Dissident Music!

2025 was a banner year for Dissident Music, with releases from artists like Quivver, Oona Dahl, Lemon8, Sandra Collins, Ranj Kaler, G*i Barone, and many more. Lots more great stuff on the way in 2026!

Sergio Villas - The Passion (incl. Aubrey Fry & The Running Man Remixes) - Friday Island

Friday Island opens up its account for 2026 with Sergio Vilas’s ‘The Passion’, featuring remixes from Aubrey Fry and The Running Man. This is Sergio’s first original release on Friday Island following his remix of Glenn Molloy’s track ‘Til I Found You’ last year.

First up is the original mix of ‘The Passion’, a chunky, dark prog house roller with moody synths that sizzle over a grooving bassline.

Next up is a remix from Aubrey Fry, who amps up the rolling vibe of the original and fleshes it out with a plucky melody that keeps the tension and intensity building throughout.

Finally, the release is capped off by Friday Island regular The Running Man, who returns with another slapping remix that blends a 4/4 beat with an electro and breaks-style groove.

Friday Island is a new progressive house label inspired by the magic of the early 2000s but with an eye firmly on pushing the future of the sound. We champion music for dark sweaty rooms and those cosmic 3am dancefloor moments when you forget where you are.

Lonya opens 2026 on Asymmetric Dip with ‘Tunnel of Love’ in collaboration with mysterious Ivolution.

A peak time melodic slab of filth, this undulating and pulsating workout, ebbs and flows, taking in acid lines and wonky vibes, all the while packing. a punch throughout.

Aku - Jagged Edges / 101 (incl. Andrew Cox & Five Seven Remixes) - Galactic Garden Collective
Jagged Edges is a building hard progressive tune I wrote under a lot of stress and you can tell. Not sure I have recovered from it.

101 was a session where I was just trying to show a beginner the ropes and he got too stoned off the blunt and had to go home but I kept going.

Andrew Cox turned my chaos into a breakbeat club banger, Five Fifty Seven could be played AM or PM.

Tape Tomorrow returns to the label to complete a remix pack for their debut EP release ‘Things To Do’. You should know Tape Tomorrow’s story by now; a lifelong musician with a new vision for electronic music that came to fruition during Covid and exploded onto the global stage after signing exclusively to Music To Die For.

‘Things To Do’ spent 10 days ridijng high in the indie dance hype charts on release. And is first up as the lead remix with Luke Brancaccio joining forces with Colin Bennun for a second outing. Focusing on its warm indietronica and driving beats to transform the track into a powerful mid set groover high in drama and hands-in-the-air appeal. The bassline draws influence from synth greats like John Carpenter and Moroder, juxtaposed with progressive synthwork and big lifts with chords and epic pads. A special remix with a difference that sets it apart while many play it safe!

Glastonbury brothers ‘Speakman’ bring the energy with a UK bass leaning remix of ‘Still Got You’ which shifts cleverly between breakbeats and a more frenetic 4/4 pace.

Esteemed DJ Tom DeWitte is going to be one to watch in 2026 for sure. He launches his production career with a fantastic deep journeyed remix taking in pulsing synths and progressive and melodic stylings.

Finally Steive Jones delivers his trademark big breaks sound transforming Echoes into dancefloor dynamite.

Mattic & Meriva - Piece Of Hope (incl. D-Nox & Kamilo Sanclementé, and Elan Myles Remixes) - Sprout

MATTIC (BR) and Meriva team up on ‘Piece of Hope’ with remixes from D-Nox & Kamilo Sanclementé and Elan Myles.

With over a decade in the making, Crema Club resident MATTIC is one of Brazil’s most promising electronic music talents. Bursting onto the scene in 2022, he’s risen the ranks with releases on Additive Sounds, Ame Records and more, blending Indie Dance, Progressive, and Melodic House into a meleé of dense lines and powerful basslines. Equally, Meriva has spent the last five years growing his fan base with incendiary sets at Green Valley, Privilege, D-Edge and Pink Elephant, among others.

Already picking up some early tastemaker plays from ZAC and J Doppler, ‘Piece of Hope’ sees the Brazilian pairing once again pool their talents for another slice of dance floor dynamite. In original form, the track laps from the speakers with a sinewy grunt. Melodics throughout ebb and flow against the thunderous low end, building a head of steam that’s hard to ignore. A deeper Dub version explores the cinematic soundscapes in greater detail.

On remix duties, D-Nox and Kamilo Sanclementé add some playful carnival vibes and smooth out the original’s grit for a subtle, yet devastating vocal ride. While Elan Myles drops a bass heavy glitzy trance reimagination that’s packed full of soul and personality.

Burcak - Back To Life - Dark City Music

Istanbul-based producer BURCAK returns to Dark City Music with his new deep, melodic house cut, Back To Life.

The track finds BURCAK working with a steady groove and a focused melodic core. A repeating vocal phrase anchors the track while layers of warm synths, subtle arpeggios, and a pulsing low- end create a sense of forward motion without unnecessary flash. This rich texture perfectly complements Bipolar Sunshine’s soulful, pop-tinged vocal, giving the track a grounded but emotional feel suited for deeper moments on the floor.

Doug Crawford - Expectations (incl. Forty Cats & Selsi Remix) - Pro-B Tech

We welcome back Doug Crawford with his EP Expectations. Joining Doug on remix duties, we have the absolute pleasure of having Forty Cats back, and for the first time, up fellow Scot and friend Selsi.

Kicking things off is the original track from Doug. This one is a dark, tough animal of a track that hits hard; there is a dark, almost demonic vocal in the background with Acid lines that set the way for what’s to come.

Next up, we have the Forty Cats remix of Expectations. What we get here is a slight pace increase and darkness throughout, you feel and hear those acid lines, whilst the kick, bass really drive this one, a superb addition here.

Next, we have the second of the originals from Doug, All in the Mind, this one lands into a more Progressive arena, and lands perfectly, again that signature solid tough kick really stands out, with a rumbling, deep bassline and that vocal that layers over just perfect, another great one here from Doug

Finally, we have Selsi on remix duties. Selsi darkens it up a touch, and lifts that bassline from the original, pulling it forward, driving the track through its dark twists and turns, for sure one for those low ceilings, head down moments.

All tracks, mixes here are outstanding, we love them and hope you will too.

Litor (AR) - You (incl. Pornbugs & PTTY Remixes) - Bo***ge Music

Lito (AR) returns to Bo***ge with an exciting new EP featuring remixes from Pornbugs and PTTY.

Breaking onto the scene back in 2017, the Buenos Aires-based artist has built a solid back catalogue with a number of great imprints. Starting out making deep house, his style has naturally progressed in a more minimal tech direction of late, focusing on strong basslines with intense percussive layers and soft, earworm melodies.

Starting with ‘Lost on the Dancefloor’, that less is more ethos is clear from the off. Warm bass and snappy percussion wrap around the icy pads like a melancholy blanket of love. On remix duties, Pornbugs smooth out the ride and add more swing for a deep and satisfying reimagination.

Next up, ‘Still Here’ warms the floor with some serious Chicago deep vibes. Trippy earworm arps and inaudible vocals complete the picture. On the remix, German house whizz and Deep Affairs co-founder, PTTY adds his unique teutonic flavour. Finally, to round out the EP, a third original - the title track - ‘You’. Vibing on the dubby, bumpty house groove, Lito channels his inner Kerry Chandler for a masterclass of deepness.
