Big news for Dot Hair, as Phill Gallagher and the team have been named Salon of the Year finalists at the British Hairdressing Business Awards ✂️

Dot Hair is Phill through and through. He opened the salon in Liverpool because he wanted to build something that felt personal, thoughtful and rooted (no pun intended) in real craft. Naming it after his nan, Dot, says everything about the care and values behind it.

Set in a Grade II listed building on Dale Street, Dot Hair has become a calm, welcoming space where clients feel listened to and looked after, and where the team are supported to grow and develop. They are officially the loveliest bunch.

This nomination feels like a really lovely nod to the work Phill and his team have put in since the beginning.

It might only be the second week in January, but we’re already looking ahead to summer in the Baltic…

Scenes like this are exactly what Liverpool Craft Beer Expo does best.🍻

The UK’s longest-running craft beer festival returns to Black Lodge Brewery in the Liverpool Baltic Triangle on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June 2026, taking over the brewery’s huge indoor and outdoor space for its biggest event yet.

Now in its thirteenth year, the Expo will bring together more than 30 independent breweries alongside cider, cocktails and summer serves, plus one of its most extensive street-food line-ups to date. Expect food from Damn Fine Burger Co, Saffa Soul, Dough Bros Pizza, Aunty’s Kitchen and Burner Kitchen, with DJs and live music across the weekend.

We’re really happy to be supporting the team on PR once again this year as plans build towards summer.

Warrington Unwrapped is still filling the town centre with festive moments, from the lights switch-on and markets to food, shopping and family-friendly entertainment across Time Square Warrington and Golden Square Warrington.

Over the past few months we’ve been working behind the scenes on A Very Crewe Christmas with Discover Crewe, the place brand for Crewe town centre.

From shop windows and trails to social content and family moments across the town, the focus has stayed the same. Support local businesses, give people reasons to spend time in Crewe, and help the town centre feel welcoming during a key trading period.

This one has been about people. The businesses, the families, the visitors and the teams bringing it all together in real time.

Full circle moments like this are why we do what we do 🤍

Jenni Jones was actually our managing director’s yoga teacher when she was pregnant with her first child back in 2017. Years later, it’s been great for our team to support Jenni behind the scenes as her story, her impact and her work for women across Liverpool continue to be shared more widely.

Jenni has always spoken in her own voice, and rightly so. Our role has simply been to support, guide and help create the space for that voice to travel further 🧘‍♀️

For the past few months, we’ve been working behind the scenes on press, reviews and influencer engagement for Beauty and the Beast, the Christmas pantomime at The Atkinson in Southport, produced by KD Theatre Productions.

From sending vintage storybooks inspired by classic fairy tales as influencer invites, to welcoming families from across the region to experience the show, the focus has been on real audiences, genuine reactions and authentic word-of-mouth.

This one feels pretty special.

After months of work behind the scenes, both Blackpool Business Improvement Districts and Tourism BID have secured renewed mandates through to 2031.

We Are Pink worked closely with the team on both business plans, supporting the process from consultation through to final documents that businesses were confident putting their names behind.

Two ballots. Two clear results. A huge amount of work from a lot of people, and a genuinely fantastic outcome for Blackpool.

We’ve got a real soft spot for this one.

We first worked with Anna and the Maranto family almost ten years ago, so it was great to be asked to announce their refurbishment plans - and we’ll be working with the team in the run up to the reopening too.

After forty three years on Lark Lane, Maranto's, Lark Lane is preparing for its biggest refurbishment yet. The much-loved family restaurant will remain open as normal for now, before closing for a short period in January and reopening on Valentine’s Day with a refreshed look, a revived bar area and a new upstairs games room.

What’s staying exactly the same? The heart of it all 💙

As Anna says, Maranto’s has always been about family and food and that will never change. It is still the same family, the same recipes and the same warm welcome, with interiors that nod to the past while looking ahead to the future. Think rich greens, mosaic tiling and those iconic Tiffany lamps that have been part of Maranto’s since day one.

We’re proud to be part of their story and can’t wait to see the doors open again in February.

Warrington’s festive season is officially unwrapped 🎁

After six years away, the town’s much-loved Christmas Lights Switch On is back and set to be bigger and brighter than ever.

On Saturday, November 15th, Golden Square Warrington will come alive with a full evening of live entertainment, a musical theatre spectacular and an appearance from none other than CBBC’s Hacker the dog, who’ll join Santa for the big countdown.

The Switch On marks the start of Warrington Unwrapped, which is a seven-week celebration packed with Christmas markets, family entertainment, live music and plenty of festive surprises across the town centre.

Created through a partnership between We Are Warrington and Warrington Borough Council, with support from Golden Square and the team at We Are Pink.

Warrington Market is marking five years in its Time Square Warrington home, while also celebrating more than 770 years since it first began trading in the town 🙌

The market’s roots go back to 1255, when a royal charter was granted to Sir William Fitz Almeric le Boteler, the 7th Baron of Warrington. It allowed a weekly Wednesday market and a three-day annual fair, establishing Warrington as a place of trade, exchange and gathering that has continued for centuries.

The current market building opened in July 2020 as part of Warrington Borough Council's £142 million Time Square development. It brought the market into a new, purpose-built space in the heart of the town centre. Opening during the Covid-19 pandemic meant a difficult start, but five years on, the market has become one of Warrington’s busiest destinations.

It runs a regular programme of events, including seasonal markets, craft fairs, themed weekends and cultural celebrations.
