Our Story

We provide authors with advanced publishing and author services for print on demand and eBooks. We undertake sophisticated online marketing and promotion campaigns. We do all the complicated boring stuff leaving you to concentrate on your writing.

Most authors, especially new authors, still prefer ‘to be published’ by a publisher rather than to ‘self-publish’. As an established ‘boutique’ publisher and imprint in Wales for many years, we can offer the author the reassurance of being published by a genuine publisher, provide top quality professional services and take advantage of the disruptive changes to the industry provided by new print technologies and other developments such as eBooks, Internet and new media.

There are many positives for ‘self-publishing’ but the main disadvantages, unless happy to be locked into the Amazon ecosystem, are and always will be, the lack of proper trade distribution to bookshops and editorial and business support that most publishers still offer and provide.

Authors, even those who are very experienced, also require editorial and the many other professional services (copy editing, proof reading, cover design, formatting, encouragement, advice, business/sales management, marketing, promotion) needed to bring a manuscript up to a publishable standard and get it out to readers.
