This body has overcome paralysis.
This body has survived 32 years of life.

I had an amazing birthday yesterday! I managed to run in my daughter's mum's race on her sports day! I lost.. by a lot! but considering this time last year my goal was to weight bare for my birthday! Was I fudged afterwards?... Yes! Did it hurt of course and I still do today. If it wasn't for a hospital appointment today I think I'd have a day in bed but I genuinely thought once the whistle blew I'd fall flat on my face! I didn't and that is a win in my eyes! I want my kids growing up to believe in themselves completely and to know that life might throw difficult things their way but it's how you deal with them that matters.
So here is a selfie of me just living my best life on the 1st proper day of being 32. 😘😘

Fresh bedding is just the best feeling. Safe to say I am already knackered after my pool session earlier 😪 roll on bed time! I have Finally managed to get both kids into their own beds!!! 🙌 It is only for a few hours atm but we are making progress. So it's gonna be nice to get a child free bed!

It's 11pm and I am wide awake 😅 so on go my spot patches 😜 and yes they are PINK hearts 🥰 There was a time I avoided the colour pink. I thought of it as too girly - weak. Nowadays I find it hard to believe how my brain was manipulated by the notion of being Feminine was a weakness when in reality being a woman is to be STRONG 💪 we are superhuman and I hope every woman who reads this knows how fantastic they are ❤️ Me and my restless legs are gonna try and relax. I could be making money selling these specimens but I'm giving it to you guys for free 😂😂😂 *jks* I will say drop foot is no joke. The pains I have still in my feet daily are horrible. Do my medications take away the pain.....? No. No they do not. So I put up with it hoping that one day I'll wake up and have a pain free day 🤞🤞 I will blow my own horn now. I have done an amazing job to get where I am with mobility, mental health and physical health. And this, right here, is proof of my stubbornness to be on my feet and moving. ❤️ You have to acknowledge the hard work you do everyday even if that is just getting put of bed. Some days will have more challenges than others so blow your own horn on your achievements no matter how small they are ❤️

Normally I wouldn't stamp my pics, but there are people out there who would take 👣👣 pics from people's pages and there is NOWAY will I allow anyone to make money of my feet, especially if I'm not getting a cut 😂😂
