Due to an outbreak of scabies, visiting to Prince Philip Hospital is being restricted from today, Sunday 27 September.

A number of scabies cases are currently being managed in healthcare and community settings across the Hywel Dda area. The risk to the wider public remains low.

The situation is being reviewed regularly and updates will be shared on our website: https://hduhb.nhs.wales/news/press-releases/restricted-visiting-at-prince-philip-hospital/

We will be contacting individuals whose planned care appointments may be impacted by this, as soon as possible.

Further information about scabies and how to identify and treat it can be found on the Hywel Dda website at: https://hduhb.nhs.wales/news/press-releases/scabies-what-you-need-to-know/
