Part 1 of finding the most unique places to kayak in the UK.

The summer side quests have begun thanks to ad

Took the Optimal Kayak for a spin and it’s safe to say fun was had.

Literally went from under my bed, to boot, to boat all within a few hours.

Episode 2 of getting into nature by public transport ad

Could’ve definitely spent multiple days exploring this place.

Thanks to the Transport for Wales app making the booking and the journey itself as smooth as possible…

Can confirm the carrot cake lasted the best part of 10 seconds

The route:

1st train: Chester - Llandudno Junction

2nd train: Llandudno Junction- Blaenau Ffestiniog

Short hike to Cwmorthin Quarry

Stop off at Cwmorthin Waterfall

Walk the “stairway to heaven”

Explore the caves (responsibly)

Head back down and catch the return trip home :)

Time to get outside 🤙🏻

March madness…

The busiest month of the year so far (late to the party)

3 months, no booze and honestly haven’t even given it a second thought - feeling great not wasting a single day to a hangover.

Plucked up the courage to go on my first solo trek abroad - covering the entire length of Gran Canaria.

Took a trip to North Wales with boxing off the Rhinogydd (even with knee joints made of papier-mâché)

Felt small stood under High Force waterfall

Started taking this running business a bit more seriously…

All while taking in the views :)

There’s so much more of life that I don’t document on here, but that’s for me.

As always, if you can, get outside - the sun is about to start shining :)

This is Gran Canaria…

4 days of hiking from Agaete to Maspalomas.

Starting at the greener north and ending in the drier south felt like crossing an entire continent with the variety of landscapes.

I spent the week camping, hosteling, and last minute Airbnb-ing after being caught in one of the worst storms the island had seen in a number of years.

Trails turned to streams but in no way did it take away from the experience.

Won’t be forgetting this one for a while.

Massive thanks again to for sorting me out with the shoes, sleeping mat, and pack that carried me through the trek.

Also had an incredible first ever hostel experience on the second night on the trail at the .rose

Grateful for this life :)

Took a trip down to the Cotswolds to test out the new Changan Deepal S05 ad

Definitely won’t be forgetting this one anytime soon…

Went out on a smooth ride around the twisty country roads and finished off the day testing the cracking safety features dodging cones on an airport runway 🤙🏻

Also felt right at home in tent mode…

What a day.

Went on a road trip to find the best in the UK and it sure didn’t disappoint…

Trekking the length of Gran Canaria.

Got tired of saying “I’ll do this when”, so booked the flights and planned from there.

Starting in Agaete and finishing in Maspalomas all while hopefully fitting in a summit of Pico de las Nieves (weather permitting)…

Will be covering everything in much more detail but here is a quick run down on the route and plan :)

Massive thanks to for helping with the bag, shoes, and sleeping mat. Whilst also recommending specific gear for the trip 🤙🏻

Can’t recommend the Olympus 6 enough.

And the toe socks might look different but they have definitely grown on me haha…
