Plenty of art exploring nature and climate themes at yesterday - some stand out work including Hackney Birds by the , ‘E is for Extinction’ by and Bass Rock - a woven tapestry of music scores - by and Kate Davis.

So inspiring and makes me want to do more art!!

The majestic - apparently just a barren landscape but look closer and life abounds in the cracks in the limestone. There’s an analogy for life!

Wonderful to finally visit a place I studied from afar many years ago - and to find this dense-flowered orchid in full effect mid-August!

Some shots from what was probably the world’s first gathering of outdoor coaches yesterday.

A fantastic day of energy, enthusiasm and interest from a sold out crowd at Henley business school, exploring a diverse range of topics and approaches to working with nature, on the banks of the River Thames.

I really enjoyed leading a workshop on , meeting virtual friends for the first time in person (including the inimitable !), making new friends, and hanging on an extra day to record a post event breakdown with , Toby Cowern from Hello Nature Sweden, and Diana.

Feels like the start of something even bigger in future…

Oh and a lovely moment when coaching Prof Jonathan Passmore stood on stage with a copy of our book and said “This. Book. Is. BEAUTIFUL!”. Of course I then sold out later in the day. Thanks Jonathan!

Delighted to be at conference with The Human Nature Partnership and hear the state of the art in applying research for people and planet. Apt to be doing this in the world’s first factory - nature connection is a vehicle for mending the tear in our relationship with nature that was accelerated by the Industrial Revolution.

Great to see so much inspired art graphic design and creative ceramics degree shows. Especially work on nature in the Anthropocene shortlisted for prize. Also letters to Dear Mother Earth, Lok Wah Lai campaign design and the ‘quiet stories of everyday life’ ceramic art by . Fills me with hope!
