Countdown Books presents a new limited edition, fully illustrated book by author Terry Rawlings marking the 40th anniversary of the label Countdown Records. From producing Extraordinary Sensations fanzine in Paul Weller’s studio, discovering US band The Untouchables to eventually signing a licensing deal with Stiff Records, Terry takes the reader on an unexpected, at times hilarious personal journey with the infamous Mod record label.

Featuring contributions from label artists Makin' Time The Prisoners, The Kick and Countdown co founder Eddie Piller along with a foreword by Gary Crowley.
