As we wrap up Surrogacy Week, we've been thinking about the impact MSJ has had since we began five years ago...💭💫

Since then, we've;

🌎 Helped to form families through surrogacy in several corners of the world

💬 Led the conversation on ethical surrogacy advocacy and reform in the UK and beyond

💡Developed educational tools and programmes to enhance knowledge of surrogacy

🤗 Created a community of people supporting each other through family building

And we continue to do all this and more to advocate for modern families and their unique paths to parenthood.

A big thank you to all of our wonderful IPs and surrogates for choosing us and to the MSJ team, who are committed to setting the standard for ethical surrogacy support and care.

It all started with our wonderful founders, Mike and Wes, in 2021, and we don't plan on stopping any time soon. 🚀💛

Last week, our Global Surrogate Membership Manager, Jos, proudly joined the crowds at Brighton Pride, the UK's largest Pride event. 🏳️‍🌈

In a time when LGBTQIA+ rights are being debated, our identities questioned, and our communities targeted, Pride is not just a celebration; it’s a statement.

To the LGBTQIA+ community: your visibility is resistance, your joy is defiance, and your advocacy is powerful.

Thank you, Brighton, for showing the UK what solidarity looks like. 💜

Not just a surrogate, but a lifelong friend. 🔗💛

This gorgeous message comes from Dani and Edu, the intended parents to a little girl being carried by our incredible Head of Ethics and two-time surrogate, Kay.

Her strength is something to behold and, as you can hear, means so much to Danny, Edu and their future family—something that once felt so far out of reach.

We wish this couple all the joy in the world on their parenthood journey and are so proud to have someone like Kay as part of the MSJ team. 🥹❤️

What happens when your best friend offers to be your surrogate?👭

For years, Emiliana watched her best friend, Sophie, and her husband battle through multiple rounds of fertility treatment and loss on their path to starting a family.

Having already become a mother herself and done the research into what altruistic surrogacy might involve, Emiliana put forward the suggestion that she could act as the couple’s surrogate. 🤰

The rest, as they say, is history. Leo was born in 2020 thanks to hope, love, surrogacy, and the incredible bond between these two friends.

This story serves as a powerful reminder this of the possibility that surrogacy presents to intended parents across the globe, as well as the selflessness that surrogates demonstrate to help people grow their family. 💕

“Sunny’s story began in science, but it’s been written with love, by many hands, across countries and cultures, united by one goal.” 🤍

You may have seen Georgia and Duncan before speaking openly and bravely about their path to parenthood via surrogacy.

Sadly, Georgia and Duncan have faced many hurdles and have navigated loss and grief along their fertility journey. After 6 years of trying, it was embarking on our surrogacy pathway in Mexico City that finally saw their dreams come true. 💫

We are honoured to have supported this wonderful couple and to see them now as loving parents to their son, Sunny. 🌞

Their story is honest, vulnerable, and full of hope.
