Would anyone know how these calculations are made? Are they a true representation of ALL the hours a nanny works in a week as often nannies may be required to work upto 60 hours a week. Which would equate to -

Let’s calculate the hourly rate based on an annual salary of £50,726 for a nanny working in London, working 60 hours per week.

Step 1: Total hours worked per year
• 60 hours/week × 52 weeks/year = 3,120 hours/year

Step 2: Hourly wage
• £50,726 ÷ 3,120 hours = £16.26/hour (approx)

✅ Final Answer:
• Hourly rate: £16.26/hour

Often when you do the maths the hourly rate it is not a fantastic figure.

Do you know how to fold and pin a terry towelling nappy?

We are pleased to say we can and still do at NNEB HQ 🥰

Back in the day, we used these — no disposables, no fancy designs… just folds, pins, and a bit of know-how. 🍼
The smell of fresh white nappies drying in the breeze, safety pins with coloured tops, and stacks folded to perfection — that was real parenting.
Tougher days, maybe… but filled with love, patience, and pride.
