The project has already begun generating global interest as one of the most powerful true-crime stories to be adapted for the screen in recent years.
Set in Toronto, Daring Greatly dramatizes the events surrounding the disappearance and tragic deaths of eight men between 2010 and 2017 — members of the LGBTQ+ community whose voices and lives can never be forgotten. The film aims not only to tell their story with integrity but also to honour their memory by sparking dialogue about resilience, justice, and the strength of community.
