This world will one day fade away.
We all will vanish and be buried in graves.
Pride, arrogance, and ego will drown us all.
End the hatred and become one.
Today we are all here,
Perhaps a few years later, we will be no more.

O son of Adam,
the world you live in today—where you think you will remain forever—is not permanent at all.
Thousands of years before you, I too existed in this very world,
and there were many others like me.
Today, we have turned into heaps of graves;
even our bones have crumbled to dust,
and no trace of our name remains upon the earth.

I turned my pain into words
because silence was hurting too much.
I smile for the world,
but my heart speaks a different language.
I am not broken,
I am just tired of being strong.
Some nights I talk to myself,
because no one else understands.
I lost parts of myself
while trying to keep everyone else whole.
I carry storms inside me,
yet I walk like everything is calm.

Some pain

so no one asks.
I miss someone
I can’t bring back.
I am quiet,
because I am breaking

I smiled so the world wouldn’t ask questions,
while my heart kept answering in silence.
Some nights I talk to memories instead of people.
Pain taught me lessons love never explained.
I lost parts of myself trying to save others.
Now I heal quietly, where no one can see.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ، مَوْلَىٰ الْمُوَحِّدِينَ، مُشْكِلْ كُشَا الْأُمَّةِ، بَابُ عِلْمِ النَّبِيِّ، وَسَيِّدُ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ وَالْمُتَّقِينَ.
