A defeat to spurs is never meaningless, and a north london derby is never a freindly however the over reaction to this result is a little over the top. Pre season is about fitness and intense training the games are to get match fitness, avoiding injuries is also very important these players are being conditioned to be ready to go in two weeks. In contex we will be able to judge once the full squad is fit and the season starts.

What i will say about spurs is they could be dark horses this season , they already look more organised and harder to break down a few more key signings they will be up there.

As for the gunners two more frendly game's before the premier leauge vs Man united, the opening 6 games are a tough as it gets, so the team need to hit the ground running..

🚨Transfer update ...

Arsenal have made a move and opened talks to sign Eze from crystal palace, club to club talks are underway, its understood that Eze is keen to join and personal terms have already been discussed and agreed(Not signed yet). A deal is advancing with the fee and structure of payment's the topic.
Andrea Berta is pushing for the deal and if his business so far is to go by a deal is very close.

This would lead to the likes of Jesus, Trossard, Nelson, Viera, Zinny maybe leaving for new clubs to raise funds and free up space in the squad as well as lowering the wage bill. The Eze deal could top off a very stong transfer window for the north london club with the possible Eze deal set to take the summer spend to around £250 million.

If Eze joins our other new players, silverwear is a must no excuses.
