The RMT Union has announced a series of strikes affecting most London Underground lines. Significant travel disruption is expected.
📅 Key Strike Dates
Each strike runs from 12:00 PM (Midday) to 11:59 AM the following day:
• March: 24–25 and 26–27
• April: 21–22 and 23–24
• May: 19–20 and 21–22
🚫 Affected Lines
• Closed: Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines.
• Severe Disruption: Central, Northern, Victoria, District, Jubilee, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan lines.
• Running Normally: Elizabeth Line and London Overground.
❓ Why is this happening?
The dispute centers on a Four-Day Working Week proposal. The RMT Union cites concerns regarding driver fatigue and passenger safety.
