When notified of her win, Anna said “Thanks this is fantastic news. My first time joining in with the home delivery news month. I think it’s a real incentive to engage with like minded businesses who are striving to keep tradition alive. ….This has made my day.”

HND Month has started strong and we’re pleased to announce that Jonathan Hailey of Kirkby Lonsdale Newspapers has won the first major competition prize, an E Bike worth over £1,100.

Jonathan said “I’m delighted to have won the E Bike. As home news delivery accounts for 90% of our newspaper sales, HND month is an excellent initiative that significantly supports us and other newsagents. It not only helps us promote our home delivery services in town and small villages within a 10-mile radius from the shop, but also strengthens our connection with the community and gives employment to newspaper boys and girls to provide them with some extra cash."

The photos show Jonathan and the route they take seven days a week in the van, delivering to all the outer villages.

October and it's Home News Delivery Month again ! If you would like to save money on your favourite newspaper(s), and the time & energy (or petrol) fetching one ! - pop into our store and we can give you all the details on how.
Our home news delivery rounds are daily, 7 days a week (except Xmas day !) within the beautiful South Cheshire village of Audlem. We operate using pedal power and shanks pony (by foot), providing employment for 9 young persons in the area - who are all developing, and building on, useful life skills. That's in addition to keeping themselves fit and active. whilst taking in some of Cheshire's most beautiful scenery !

POS and Leaflets Packs being delivered this week
The News wholesalers have started to distribute all POS packs and promotional leaflets for HND Month 2025.
If you haven’t received your packs by 15th September please get in touch with your supplying wholesaler and let them know so that we can ensure you receive everything you need in advance of HND Month 2025.
As a reminder, all participants will be sent their unique draw number for the Daily £200 draw via their registered email address week commencing 15th September 2025.
