Less than 2 months until London looks like this again and I genuinely cannot wait. 🍂

Autumn in London is something completely different. The parks turn every shade of orange and gold, the streets fill with pumpkins and ivy, the air gets crisp and the whole city just feels more magical somehow. It is the best season to be here.

If you are planning a trip to London and have not considered autumn, let this be the sign. October and November are genuinely some of the best months to visit — the summer crowds are gone, the light is incredible and the city is at its most beautiful.

Some of my favourite spots for autumn in London:

🍂 Regent’s Park — the leaf canopy along the paths is stunning and the colours are unreal
🍂 Notting Hill — the colourful houses look even better surrounded by autumn leaves
🍂 Knightsbridge — the shop fronts and flower displays go all out for the season
🍂 Any London park at golden hour — just go, you will not regret it

If you are visiting London and you want to stay somewhere that actually feels like London — this is it. 🏙️

The is one of those hotels that has a story. It is a Victorian railway hotel built in 1865, right above Charing Cross station, and the building itself is stunning — high ceilings, ornate detailing, grand arched windows and interiors that feel genuinely historic without feeling tired or dated.

The rooms are beautiful. Warm tones, plush bedding, that iconic yellow retro telephone on the nightstand, and a level of comfort that makes you want to stay in all day. The kind of hotel room where you actually look forward to waking up in the morning.

Speaking of mornings — complimentary breakfast is included and it is proper. Think pastries, fresh fruit, hot drinks, all served in one of the most elegant dining rooms I have ever sat in. Green walls, gold detailing, velvet chairs and a chandelier. It does not feel like a hotel breakfast, it feels like an occasion.

The location is genuinely unbeatable. You are steps from the Thames and Embankment, a short walk from Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, the National Gallery and the West End. Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are a 10-minute walk. Basically everything you want to see in London is within easy reach on foot.
