According to Jim Penniston’s sworn testimony, the men observed a triangular craft, approximately nine feet wide and six feet high, resting on the forest floor. Its surface was described as smooth, metallic, and cool to the touch, with unusual hieroglyphic-like symbols etched along its hull. Penniston meticulously sketched these symbols and noted their positioning, describing them as slightly raised and tactile.
Most significantly, Penniston claims he physically touched the object and received a “telepathic download” of binary code, which he transcribed in his notebook upon returning to base. The symbols and the message would only gain attention years later, but the experience left him deeply disturbed.
The craft, which emitted a faint, low-frequency hum and a soft white light, eventually lifted off the ground, maneuvering silently through the trees before speeding away at incredible velocity.
