IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hi guys, so has been such a tough decision for me but I will be closing my shop for the next few weeks!

When I opened Paper Print Designs back in Nov/Dec I never in a million years thought it would be what it is today and never would have thought I would achieve so much in a short amount of time! The response has been incredible and I am eternally grateful to every single person that has ever interacted with my business but that success has also taken it toll on my personal life, social life and mental wellbeing.

I get up most days before work and package prints that have come in overnight, I spend every lunchbreak at the post office, I finish work at half 5 and spend my entire evening working on orders and finally get to bed at about 2am to then wake up the next day and do it all over again. Working full time whilst having a small business is TOUGH and I praise every single one of you out there doing it because you don't understand the constant pressure until you do it!

This past bank holiday weekend, I had planned to shut my shop and enjoy my weekend with family and friends. When I went to close my shop, I was presented with pages of shops saying don't shut your shop it ruins your sales and position in the etsy algorithm so I felt concerned and pressured not to shut my shop, instead I extended my dispatch times hoping it would slow down business - it seemed to only increase sales!

Yesterday, after a lovely day with family, I had a complete breakdown to see that I finished the weekend on 67 orders and not knowing how I could mentally get this all done whilst working full time and having more orders come in each and every day! I know there are business on here that would love to have that in a weekend and please don't think I am not grateful because I am over the moon that people believe in my small business and support me but I think I have been so drained the last few weeks and it is now taking its toll on me mentally and its time for me to step away and have a recharge!

I'm not sure when I will be back but I hope it won't be too too long!

Hope you are all excited about the long weekend! Don't know about anyone else but I am counting down to logging off work tonight!!

In other news, here is a picture of what is honestly my favourite print I sell! Everytime I print one of these for an order I just look at it and smile! 🥰 I think it's so elegant and classy but still such a homely feel... if that makes sense!? Probably not 😂 LOOOOL! What do you guys think?

Does anyone else plan instagram posts to be super efficient and then completely forget to post them? Nope. Just me then 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Who let me try and run a business, like seriously? I need some adult supervision please!!

Anyway here is another post of my best selling family print that can include any fur-baby family members as well! Recently I have made paw prints for horses, bearded dragons, guinea pigs and a snail... so anything is possible!!

IT'S FRIDAY! IT'S SUNNY! THE PUBS ARE OPEN... DAYS LIKE TODAY WHEN I LOVE LIFE!!

Sorry I've been radio silent the last few weeks, I have generally just been so overwhelmed with my full time job and then the volume of orders that have been coming through!

I am beyond grateful for every single order but the last couple of weeks I have been working at least 16 hours a day, 7 days a week and I think my body was just like what the f**k you doing 😂😂😂 especially as I am technically diagnosed as a medically sleepy person (true story! It's a thing) 😂

Anyway I am finally starting to feel a little bit normal again and ready to get back on top of things!!

I can't believe what I have achieved in such a short amount of time and can't wait to share some new bits with you soon! Also keep an eye out for a super exciting giveaway that will be going live very soon ❤❤❤❤

Who else is in a chocolate coma!? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Hope you all had a lovely long weekend and stuffed your faces with chocolate! 🍫🍬 I tried to have a complete switch off but my bunny had other ideas and I actually spent most of my weekend at the Vets and then having to syringe antibiotics in Cadburys mouth - he was not a fan at all and I have the bite marks to prove it!

The one productive thing I did do was to have a play around on Procreate after about 5months of forgetting that I own the app! I drew some really s**t drawings but I have decided to call them 'abstract' and I'm off to add 'Artist' to my CV 😂😂😂 and for even bigger bants I have listed them on Etsy incase anyone actually wants to purchase these horrendous things 😅🤷🏼‍♀️ so here are my shocking drawing I have entitled 'Beige Sketches' - thrilling I know 😏😂 Enjoy!

4 MONTHS!?!?

What!? So on February 26th I hit 500 sales on my etsy and I was over the moon, like crying with happiness... I turned to my boyfriend and went how crazy would it be if I hit 1000 by the end of March 🤯 NEVER IN MY LIFE DID I THINK IT WAS ACTUALLY GOING TO HAPPEN BUT LOOK WHAT I WOKE UP TO!!

March has been such a busy busy month for me, both work wise and PaperPrint wise but hitting this target I could only of dreamed of reaching has made all those 2am printing nights worth it! ❤

Thank you all so much for your support through these crazy last months, I honestly thought I would do this for 3 weeks and then get bored but instead I've found something I really really love doing!!

To everyone that has bought something from me, shared a story, liked a post or even just sat and thought about helping me, just know that I am so so grateful!!!

Anyway, I won't ramble on too much longer... got to get loads of prints done before the last post run 😂
