Question.

Skilled worker/Tier 2 immigrant had a child that was born here in the UK.

The mother of the child is on the Tier 2 dependent visa.

Are we eligible to claim 'Child Benefit'?

BRP says 'no public funds'

Answer.

No it is clearly mentioned in gov.uk website there is no public fund and child benefit for non British citizens. Your child would have same visa stays you do. Therefor you are not eliglbe for any benefit until you get your ILR.

Thanks

Question.
How long does it take for COS to come out. Am waiting for cos from a company that wants to sponsor me but they said they are waiting for the certificates for home office and my visa expires jan 30th. What can I do pls

Answer.

These days it is taking long to get COS so simply ask you company to apply in priority service and they would get response in single day.

The priority service fee is only 200 pounds wouldn’t be a problem for your company.

Otherwise, they are facing tremendous delay and far behind on standard operations.

Thanks

Question:

Can someone clarify what the expiry date means on CoS. mine will expire on jan 15 but i am not scheduled for biometrics yet. is that a problem? altho its noted that the CoS end date is in 2026

Answer:

Expiry date means after this date cos can not be consider valid and need renewal or new one. However, in your case as you are waiting for biometric so hopefullywouldn’t not be a problem for your application.

Moreover, if you still want to keep safe side ask your employer to issue new one or follow policy. I would suggest bring this to their attention rather then sharing on social networks. They have been to so many same cases and had in contact with home office.

Please feel free to contact for further assistance.

Thanks

Key facts: Please keep these points in mind while considering UK for your studies apt future. Students are found struggling to pay their fees due to unemployment and recession in country and all time high visas granted.

In 2020-21 there were 605,130 international students studying in the UK. 152,905 of these were from the EU and 452,225 were non-EU.

In the year ending September 2022, there were 463,315 sponsored study visas granted.

This is the highest annual number of study visas granted on record and represents both a recovery from the lower number of visas granted during the Covid-19 pandemic but also an increase on pre-pandemic levels.

Question:
If any student is terminated from university. And his visa is for 3 years. Does he/ she switched tire 4 to tire 2

Answer:
Yes. In most of the cases university doesn’t inform home office about students so that’s why during your application you jut upload your existing BRP and that always shown active. Immigraacvohbt made on the basis of existing BRP you have other options as well but BRP is best as it has checked online and without visiting centre you get your decision.

Additionally, I know personally many students who got changed their student visa even after leaving school for more than 2-3 years and they successfully applied and changed their tier 4 to respective category.

Thank you.

Alhamdulilah, Today my skilled worker visa application has been successful. I applied on Saturday 24th, 2022, and received an email today.

The Visa process is very simple if you are already here in Uk then you don't need any English language proof because you have already proven it in your previous application.

The case for applicants from different countries is different they just need to show them an English language certificate as an extra document.

Required Documents:

+ work for a UK employer that’s been approved by the Home Office
+ have a ‘certificate of sponsorship’ from your employer with information about the role you’ve been offered in the UK
+ do a job that’s on the list of eligible occupations
be paid a minimum salary - how much depends on the type of work you do.
