We’re thrilled to welcome Emma to our growing team at Libra VA Services! 🎉

With 8 years of admin/PA experience and 7 years in project management, I know my way around a system — and exactly how to fix the ones that aren’t working. From scheduling mayhem to spreadsheet wizardry, I thrive on turning business chaos into smooth, efficient processes.

My Labrador, Frank, firmly believes he’s the CEO of my home office (and honestly, he might be right).

Fueled by good coffee and an ever-growing love of Portuguese and Mexican treats (if you haven’t tried a Pastéis de Nata, do yourself a favor), I bring warmth and energy to every project I touch.

Outside of work, I’m a CrossFit enthusiast, a foodie, and a bit of a gaming geek — The Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2 (where I actually met my husband!), No Man’s Sky, and The Sims are my go-to escapes.

A sucker for a colour-coded project plan, I believe every detail deserves attention.

Oh, and I speak Portuguese too — Boas-vindas!

Most importantly, I’m a proud mum to Matilde, my nearly two-year-old firecracker who keeps me on my toes and laughing daily.

1. Onboarded two new clients in the creative industries (interior designer & a food writer) to support with EA work and general admin.

2. Welcomed two new team members both called Emma- more intros to follow shortly!

3. Continuing to build our sales pipeline and nurture warm leads in the coming months...

4. Attending lots of local networking groups and events.

5. Building strong connections at our regular London co-working space who have supported us in advertising opportunities and connecting us to highly skilled professionals.

As the co-founder of Libra VA Services and a mum to three little ones aged 4, 3, and 9 months, I’ve discovered that running a business isn’t just about the income – it’s about the outcome on my whole life.

✨ Before starting this journey, I felt like I had to choose:
Be a successful professional?
Be a present, engaged mum?
Why couldn’t I be both?

Starting Libra VA Services has been my answer.
It’s my daily reminder that:
✅ I get to work with amazing clients who respect my boundaries – even when they’re “negotiating snack time” boundaries!
✅ I’m no longer “just another employee” – I’m building something that carries my heart and my voice.
✅ And yes, even though some days feel like a circus, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Here’s the truth: Working for yourself isn’t always the easy path – but it’s the path that lets you create your own rules.
Want to work from your kitchen table in your PJs while your 9-month-old explores every cupboard? Go for it.
