Mini me take over part 7…

It sounds fishy!

This video starts with a photo of Claire wearing some funky designer sunglasses in selfridges, the remind me abit of the shape of a leaf. The next series of videos are on a boat in Portland, Maine. It starts with Claire being directed on how to feel the back of a lobster, and she squeals which makes everyone laugh. It then transitions to Claire preparing the lobster food, she is holding a mesh bag while people fill it with fish guts. She then has a go at putting fish guts in someone else’s bag, really getting the full experience. The company, Lucky Catch, then help Claire close up the lobster traps ready to go to the bottom of the ocean.

I know it’s only September, but you need to know about these things… especially that awesome magic wand! 🪄🎄

Rick and I had a sneak peek at B&Q’s 2026 festive range, featuring four themes: Nordic Naturals, Timeless Traditions, Modern Magic and Golden Glam. There was lots of inspiration… including a giant bow that obviously belonged in my hair!

Which theme would you choose? I think I’m going for Golden Glam this year. ✨

Video description: At the beginning of the video, I use Rick, my white cane, to point towards a Christmas tree and pretend to turn its lights on and off. I then show off the actual magic wand that controls the lights. If only Rick were that magical!

The video then shows me walking into the event with Rick before posing beside a B&Q backdrop.

The video moves through lots of twinkling Christmas displays, decorated trees, colourful baubles, lights and festive characters. I explore the decorations with my hands, naturally touching absolutely everything within reach.

At one point, I place an enormous red bow in my long blonde hair and grin at the camera while wearing it like the sophisticated and understated woman I clearly am.

As a blind beauty lover, I’m not always taken seriously in the beauty world, so being invited to my second beauty event this year honestly meant so much to me.

Just because I can’t see my makeup doesn’t mean I don’t love wearing it…..or buying far too much of it!

M·A·C was actually one of my first makeup loves. When I worked for Virgin Atlantic, Ruby Woo and Studio Fix were absolute essentials, so being invited to the launch of the new Studio Radiance Skin Tint Stick felt like a real full-circle moment. ✨

It comes in 20 flexible shades with five undertones, gives sheer, natural-looking coverage and feels so lovely and light on the skin. Although I’ll obviously need somebody sighted to confirm just how radiant I look!

Thank you so much for inviting me

Video Description:
Claire arrives at the M·A·C event wearing a chocolate brown top, cream pinstriped mini skirt and brown kneehigh boots, with Rick the Stick guiding the way.

I’m taken onto a bright yellow set for a photoshoot, posing with Rick in one hand and M·A·C products in the other. Rick is giving professional makeup model while I’m giving “somebody please tell me where to look!”

A M·A·C artist applies the new Studio Radiance Skin Tint Stick and finds my colour match before I pose in front of a wall of retro televisions showing M·A·C campaign images.

The final clips show the cocktail menu, a drink containing an ice cube stamped with the M·A·C logo, the green-lit Street M·A·C London bar and me being handed a black M·A·C goodie bag containing my colour-matched product.

Mini me take over part 6….

Warning, may contain footage of someone who is blind drunk 🤣

This reel starts with a photo of Claire with polysterene on her head, I don’t know why. It then transitions to Claire in a funfair hamster wheel, she is trying to rotate it but is struggling and making herself look daft. As she tells me I’m mean, there is a video of her with wet hair in her pyjamas from when we were in a hotel. The next video is of young Jade in a pink dress wiggling her bottom at the camera, turning around and sticking out her tongue. The video where I ask her to show me putting her fist in her gob, we are at a train station. She then starts to look at a ladder which is blocked off to the public. The next video is of Claire behind the DJ set with her arm in the air rocking out to some tunes. We then transition to a video I covertly recorded when she was drunk. There’s not much to see. The final video is of Claire wearing blow up antlers (for Christmas) and the family throwing blow up rings to catch onto the antlers. We all throw the rings at once which catches Claire by surprise.

Being blind doesn’t get me out of the washing up… believe me, I’ve tried!

Video description: Claire stands at her kitchen sink, facing the camera. She has long, straight blonde hair and is wearing a bright pink sweatshirt, blue jeans and red nail varnish. The camera is positioned low, almost level with the sink, which is filled with hot, bubbly water and several items of washing-up.

As she talks, Claire lifts a handful of white soap bubbles towards the camera before showing a large ceramic mug with a grey-and-white geometric pattern. She holds up a yellow sponge with a dark green scouring side, then uses her hands to feel around inside the sink. She washes the mug methodically beneath the bubbles, using the sponge and her fingers to check its surface. Grey kitchen cupboards, a microwave and a staircase can be seen behind her.
