1000X THE COLLEXION - A premium take on Sony’s 1000X series. 🎧

Created to mark the 10th anniversary of Sony’s 1000X lineup, 1000X THE COLLEXION combines the noise-cancelling technology of the WH-1000XM6 with upgraded materials and refined detailing. A metal headband, newly developed faux leather and redesigned ergonomics are paired with a bespoke carbon composite driver, 12-microphone noise cancelling system and spatial audio features.

Its flexible configuration system allows it to accommodate different hospitality, workplace, and public settings. The Dining model draws on the banquette seating typology commonly found in Parisian cafés and restaurants, offering a more upright seating posture while maintaining the collection’s rounded aesthetic and comfort-focused approach. 🛋️

Drift is shaped by motion resolving into rest - forms that appear to have shifted, settled, and found balance over time. Like stones smoothed by a river, each piece feels arrived at, not engineered for effect. At the center of the system is Helia - a shared internal architecture that powers every product in the collection. Helia houses the LED light engine, batteries, wireless electronics, and thermal system, connecting to a capacitive touch control module that integrates cleanly into any form. Multiple lighting typologies grow from the same technological core, while maintaining consistent brightness, runtime, and performance across the collection. 🔋

Blink Chair - A hybrid workplace seat.👩‍💻

Shaped around the evolving rhythms of modern workspaces where movement, short-term seating, and shared environments are increasingly common. Its defining feature is a continuous seat-and-back shell built using an Auxetic structure. It features a geometric cellular pattern that flexes and responds locally to the body, embedding comfort, pressure distribution, and support directly into the surface itself. A concealed Keel Mechanism enables smooth forward tilt and weight-responsive recline without interrupting the chair’s minimal silhouette, while the reduced component count and efficient material use create a form that feels both lightweight and structurally refined. Ferrari Luce - Ferrari’s first fully electric vehicle.⚡️

Developed on a dedicated EV platform, the Ferrari Luce introduces a new vehicle typology for the brand. The aluminium-bodied grand tourer features centre-opening doors, integrated lighting elements, and Ferrari’s largest production road wheels to date. Its proportions are longer and lower than the Purosangue, positioning it closer to a grand touring format than a traditional SUV.

The vehicle uses a four-motor electric powertrain with an 880V architecture, alongside active suspension, four-wheel steering and torque vectoring systems. Interior controls prioritise physical interfaces over fully screen-based interaction.

Sh**un Chair & Stool - A low-profile seating system combining rounded geometry, movement, and modular comfort. 🪑

Originally designed by Verner Panton in 1994 for Erik Jørgensen, the Sh**un Chair and Stool are reissued by Kettal in celebration of Panton’s 100th birthday. The seating collection combines sculptural geometry with mobility, reflecting Panton’s interest in flexible and adaptable living environments.

The design is built around cylindrical forms and the combination of two semi-circular shells that create the seat and backrest. Both the chair and stool are fitted with castors, allowing movement and repositioning within a space rather than encouraging a fixed seating posture. A limited-edition version is also produced in Panton Red, referencing one of the designer’s most recognisable colour palettes. 🔴

This Wednesday, during , we hosted the Official CDW Party inside the surroundings of St Bartholomew the Great with our partners .

Completely sold out, the evening brought together designers, studios, brands and friends from across the industry for drinks, music and conversation inside one of London’s oldest churches.

What does collaboration look like when designers step directly into the workshops of Japan’s master craftspeople?

Craft x Tech brings together six international creators and six artisans across the Tokai region, each working within deeply specialised disciplines spanning ceramics, textiles, paper, enamelwork and braiding.

Over the coming months, ideas will be tested through material experiments, conversations and hands-on making, resulting in new pieces shaped equally by contemporary perspectives and generations of technical knowledge.

This edition includes collaborations between:

Lanzavecchia + Wai × Warabi Paper Company
Bethan Laura Wood × Suzusan
Eugene Kangawa × Shingama
Philippe Malouin × Ando Cloisonne

The collection will launch at Kudan House, Tokyo, from 30th May to 2nd June 2026, before travelling to London during London Design Festival.

We’ll be partnering with Craft x Tech to document the process and share the story as it unfolds.
