Do not go to India, itā€™s dirty, they say!


Iā€™ve been to India more than I can count, it saddened me to see some people believing everything they see on the internet. Sure, there are places that arenā€™t to your standards, but itā€™s the same everywhere. I know this for a fact, as I have lived half of my life in what most Westerners would call ā€œThird world countryā€.

The India that I saw and stayed in is beautiful. I love the food, I love the people and most especially, the culture.

Never have I gone to India to bring presents to anyone, in fact, itā€™s the other way around, every Auntieā€™s house weā€™ve been, we donā€™t ever go home empty handed. They always buy something for my children, they give them cash and presents. They would go to extra lengths to make sure we enjoy our stay, albeit; short stay.

Do not believe everything you see on the internet. There are people who will deliberately show you the ugly side as it garners hat3, comments and views, which means more money for them.

I encourage you to see it for yourself and form your own opinion not based on a 30seconds clip that you saw on social media.
