Today, I had the pleasure of capturing an incredible event outside the Delia Derbyshire building at Coventry University—BAMBOO, an awe-inspiring outdoor circus performance. For 40 minutes, world-class circus artists and acrobats built towering bamboo structures that seemed to defy physics, creating a breathtaking playground of agility, strength, and harmony with nature. The mix of live music, comedy, and stunning acrobatics made for an unforgettable experience, and the crowd loved every moment.

Following the enchanting Mughal Miniatures, I had the opportunity to witness "CastAway" by Highly Sprung—a powerful outdoor performance that brought a thought-provoking message to the heart of Coventry's historic surroundings. The event, commissioned by the Coventry City of Culture Trust and others, unfolded with a breathtaking display of aerial theatre, featuring an all-female cast that captivated audiences as they twisted, floated, and dived over 26 feet in the air.

"CastAway" tells the story of the Keeper of the Waterways, who rises up from beneath a crushing mass of plastic, urging us to reconsider our throwaway society. With its unique gyroscopic flying machine and stunning visuals, the performance not only entertained but also challenged the audience to reflect on the impact of plastic pollution on our waterways and the broader environmental crisis.

As the performers soared through the air, they delivered a powerful message: now is the time for change. This remarkable piece of theatre left a lasting impression on all who watched, reminding us of the urgent need to take action against climate change.

Today, I captured a captivating event that brought the magic of Mughal Miniatures to life against the backdrop of Coventry's historic architecture. Starting in the Guildhall and moving outdoors, the performance featured a majestic peacock and a graceful princess who enchanted the crowd with their bold presence and elegant dance.

As the peacock explored and the princess danced, the audience was drawn into their world. One attendee perfectly summed it up: "It was such a colorful and majestic performance! The peacock was stunning! Thank you for a beautiful production."

This blend of tradition and artistry created an unforgettable experience for all.
